Europe Announces 40th Anniversary Tour, Performing ‘The Final Countdown’ Album In Full

Swedish rock legends Europe are officially set to embark on the massive ‘The Final Countdown 40th Anniversary Tour’ in 2026. The band will tour across twelve countries for nineteen concerts, including dates in the U.K., Netherlands, France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Austria, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. This exciting show will feature a comprehensive career retrospective setlist, culminating in the band performing their momentous album ‘The Final Countdown’ in its entirety.

Singer Joey Tempest shared his enthusiasm for the event, noting, “In the blink of an eye, 40 years have passed, and we’re about to perform ‘The Final Countdown’ in full for only the second time in our career, together with other hits and our favorite songs from our upcoming album. This will be amazing. We’re working on making the production and show match this very special occasion.” Released in 1986, ‘The Final Countdown’ launched the group to international fame, with the title track single soaring to No. 1 in twenty five countries. The multi platinum selling album spent over sixty weeks on the American Billboard chart. Supporting this major run will be Canadian hotshots The Damn Truth, whose acclaimed self titled fourth album was produced by the legendary Bob Rock. Scottish legends Gun will also appear as special guests at all U.K. shows.

The tour perfectly aligns with a new creative chapter for the band, who have the distinction of being one of the few elite artists to retain their complete classic lineup. September 2026 will see the release of their twelfth studio record, which was recorded in October 2025 at RMV Studios in Stockholm with famed producer Tom Dalgety. Presales for the tour begin tomorrow, Wednesday, November 26th, at 10 am local time, with the general sale following on Friday, November 28th.

Space Cartel Captures Epic Live Performance Of “Giant Jack” Inside Legendary Abbey Road Studio

Space Cartel has released a professionally filmed live performance of their new single “Giant Jack,” recorded inside the highly legendary Abbey Road Angel 1 Studio. Led by composer, producer, and pianist Johnny Bosbyshell, this session features a massive fifteen piece supergroup, bringing together members of Matisyahu, Eminence Ensemble, Spirit Bear, and top London based orchestral players for a striking and sophisticated fusion of jazz, electronic textures, and cinematic orchestration.

The video, which runs just over five minutes, presents “Giant Jack” as a sweeping, modern jazz fusion piece viewed through an orchestral lens. Heavy electric guitar crescendos meet intricate percussion and compelling saxophone lines. Meanwhile, layered cello and violin leads introduce dramatic drops and an energy reminiscent of a film score. The arrangement builds to a powerful finale, flawlessly blending live band improvisation with orchestral precision, a hybrid rarely captured on this scale. The performance showcases the talent of Space Cartel’s core band—Bosbyshell, guitarists Justin Neely and Ted Kleist, and saxophonist Joe Lilly—who are joined by special guests like drummer Matt McElwain and bassist Karl Summers. The eight piece UK orchestral ensemble features outstanding players, including violinists Emily Harrison and Jenny Clare and cellists Hoda Jahanpour and Aleksander Tomaszkiewicz. Filming and production were skillfully managed by UK based Bluefield Media, capturing the entire ensemble live in Abbey Road. The audio was mixed by the esteemed Stephen “Eski” Edwards and mastered by London based engineer Lev Shteinberg.

Brussels based producer Odymel is back with his latest offering, the peak energy, widescreen anthem “Love Bullet Pt. 2,” a brand new collaboration with French producer Durdenhauer. This track is the penultimate drop before the full arrival of his highly anticipated debut album, ‘ENDLESS RECESS’, and it showcases the expansive, dramatic, and unashamedly melodic side of Odymel’s sound. This single release follows a heavy and successful touring run for Odymel, which included five sold out shows at ADE, massive sets at Tomorrowland (Mainstage), Dour, ZeeZout, Glitch Festival, and Hï Ibiza, culminating in a forthcoming sold out hometown headline show at Ancienne Belgique on December 4th. The full 16 track debut album, ‘ENDLESS RECESS’, arrives the very next day, December 5th, via Urban Records / Universal Music Group. The album threads the powerful lineage of early 2000s French electro artists like Vitalic and Gesaffelstein through a vibrant modern electronic energy, defined by Odymel’s signature chromatic minor writing. Following the widespread devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica, the island’s biggest music stars are joining forces for a historic event! Grammy Award winning superstar Shaggy, through his Make a Difference Foundation, has teamed up with the Jamaica Strong NYC coalition—led by George Crooks of Jammins Event, Robert ‘Bobby’ Clarke of Irie Jam Media, and Kacy Rankine of Roadblock Radio LLC—to present the “Jamaica Strong Benefit Concert.” This powerful show of unity is set for Friday, December 12, 2025, at the UBS Arena in Queens, and the goal is massive. Crooks, the concert’s co producer, declared, “Our goal is to make at least a million dollars for the Jamaica Strong Relief Concert. That is the minimum we’re looking for at this event.” Kacy Rankine emphasized the collective strength of Caribbean communities across the region, stating, “This is New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania pooling our resources. We’re going to send something big to Jamaica.”

The all star lineup is absolutely incredible, featuring Shaggy and Sean Paul, alongside KES, Inner Circle, Ky Mani Marley, Tessanne Chin, Aidonia, Chronic Law, T.O.K., Gramps Morgan, Richie Stephens, Mikey Spice, Marcia Griffiths, I Octane, and gospel standout Kevin Downwell. This concert is clearly a huge cultural moment for a powerful cause. Bobby Clarke announced that the patriotic anthem “Jamaica Strong” by rising artist Aiesha Barrett has been chosen as the official theme song for the event. Aiesha, who is the daughter of iconic Wailers bassist Aston “Familyman” Barrett and niece of legendary drummer Carlton “Carly” Barrett, was inspired to write the song after seeing the images coming from home when the storm hit. She said, “’Jamaica Strong’ became my way of giving hope back to the island.” The song has already surpassed one million views across Facebook and Instagram, a response Aiesha attributes to its powerful emotional resonance. Veteran singer Richie Stephens, who will perform, has also recorded his own tribute song, “Hurricane,” and shared that he plans to perform it for patrons on December 12th.

Leeds upstarts Fuzz Lightyear just dropped their brand new ‘Zero Guilt’ EP today, November 21st, via Nice Swan Records! The band teamed up with esteemed producer Alex Greaves for this extended release, which arrives hot on the heels of their acclaimed festival slot at Left Of The The Dial last month. ‘Zero Guilt’ captures Fuzz Lightyear at their core, distilling their chaotic and impressive blend of shoegaze, industrial noise rock, and fast paced punk into one thrilling package.

Soul royalty is returning to the UK as The Temptations and The Four Tops announce a short, co headlining tour this summer, marking their first UK appearance in four years. These two Motown giants, whose careers span almost sixty years since they first performed in the UK, are joining forces to bring the golden age of Soul back to the stage. This tour promises fans a night of pure fun, singalong nostalgia, and unforgettable harmonies that truly transcend generations.

Expect an incredible evening filled with decades of chart topping hits and Number One singles like “Reach Out I’ll Be There,” “It’s The Same Old Song,” “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch),” “My Girl,” “Get Ready,” and “Papa Was A Rollin’ Stone,” among many others. Primus, Chelsea Wolfe, and Cult Of Luna & Julie Christmas Headline ArcTanGent Festival 2026

The much-loved and award winning ArcTanGent Festival returns this next Summer 2026 and can now reveal all three days main stage headliner acts, as well as a host of other amazing artists for the festival which runs 19-22nd August 2026.

Starting off the main stage headliners announcement are the legendary experimental rock band Primus, playing their first ever show at the festival and the first shows in the UK since 2017. Performing songs from their vast collection of much loved and much lauded back catalogue, this will be one of THE sets not just of next summers event, but from all ArcTanGent Festival history.

Next up we have main stage headliner, the utterly stunning and beguiling American singer songwriter Chelsea Wolfe. With last years massively acclaimed album ‘She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She’ helping her achieve her first BBC 6Music Playlist additions, this will be an unmissable show. She was actually announced as our headliner back in 2020, but with the global outbreak of COVID, it was an event and a headline set that never happened.

The final main stage headliner for 2026 is Cult Of Luna & Julie Christmas, who will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of their incredible album ‘Mariner’ by playing it in full. This phenomenal album was released back in April 2016, AND this ArcTanGent show is a 2026 UK exclusive, their only UK show for the whole year.

From Johannes of Cult Of Luna – “In 2016, we celebrated the 10-year anniversary of Somewhere Along the Highway. At the time, it already felt like a lifetime had passed since we recorded it. That same year, we released Mariner with Julie Christmas and somehow, ten more years have gone by in what feels like an instant. I was about to make a clever analogy about the speed of light and the passage of time to connect it all to the themes of the album, but it’s too early in the morning for that kind of thinking. It probably just comes down to the fact I’m getting older faster. What I’m really trying to say is simple: I take every chance I get to be on stage with Julie. As a band, we spent a lot of time considering what it would mean to revisit these songs again. Making this album was a risk, we didn’t know what the creative process would look like with someone who wasn’t part of our world at the time. Julie is now a dear friend, and we’re grateful to ArcTanGent Festival for giving us the opportunity to return to this material together. So with a mix of excitement and a fair bit of fear, we’re preparing to bring these songs back to life next summer.”

Blood, sweat, and tears… light, love, and sound so loud I might shatter. Cult of Luna changed the way I think about making music forever. Speaking of the new additions to the ArcTanGent Festival, organiser James Scarlett says – “The stars really have aligned for this set of ArcTanGent headliners – and it’s safe to say all three have been firmly at the top of our wish lists for a very, very long time. Primus at ArcTanGent is well overdue, Chelsea Wolfe can finally make that headliner appearance following the booking, announcement and then cancellation from back in 2020 due to Covid, and ‘Mariner’ by Cult of Luna and Julie Christmas is 100% one of the greatest albums of all time (and celebrating it’s 10th anniversary next year!). To have them all headline ATG in the same year is literally unbelievable – and we’re extremely proud to present a festival line up truly unlike anything else you’ll find on the planet.”
