The Restorative Quality of Hakone’s Onsen

Hot spring Onsen which is the main attraction of Hakone is known as onsen and their healing properties are mainly due to the high traces of minerals found in the water. Several high-end ryokan’s in Hakone have an open-air onsen that is exclusively for each of the guests, so you can combine the soaking in hot water and viewing the surrounding nature at the same time. The onsen is a significant part of a luxury ryokan stay, giving pleasure, and reviving both spiritually and physically on one hand, and bringing you closer to nature on the other hand.

Zabuton & Tatami In The Guest ♪Le Barrel & In-House Staff

Rooms without a doubt are designed with traditional tatami mats, sliding shoji doors, and futon beds, which build a calm and minimalist atmosphere. The term “omotenashi” which literally means Japanese total hospitality is abundantly evident in the ryokan. Every single detail of the trip is thought through and topped off with the personal treatment.

Cultural and Outdoor Activities in Hakone

In addition to the opulent living at a luxury ryokan, Hakone is the perfect ground for a variety of cultural and outdoor activities. If art is your thing, the open-air museum at Hakone has sculptures all over the grounds that are part of nature’s motif. Another great place is the Polar Museum of Art, home to a fantastic exhibition of Western and Japanese art. Not to be outdone is the historical experience of going to the shrine that comes with the iconic red torii gate sitting in the waters of Lake Ashi.

On the other hand, those who love outdoor activities can choose between trekking along the scenic trails, riding the Hakone Ropeway that gives views of the city, or traveling on the tourist-preferred Hakone Tozan Railway, which passes through the green valleys and into the hot spring town. Whether it is isolation or excitement you are looking for, Hakone has a plethora of activities to take advantage of while you are in the ryokan.

The Consideration of the Best Luxury Ryokan in Hakone

Hakone is home to diverse kinds of luxury ryokans where each of them has its unique features and places. Some ryokans are located far in the mountains, which makes them the solely secluded watery places on the earth, while some are on the shore of Lake Ashi offering a picturesque view. When it comes to deciding on the right ryokan, travelers should keep in mind private onsen, meal options, and of course the level of personal service provided by the staff. Gora Kadan, Hakone Ginyu, and Kinnotake Tonosawa are among the best-known luxury ryokans that are famous for their superb hospitality and top-notch amenities.

Delightful for Every Traveler

Whether you go alone to seek inner peace or as a couple to have a romantic time or as a family to enjoy culture, a ryokan luxury stay in Hakone is definitely a desirable spot. The combination of the beautiful landscape, cultural wealth, and the unique Japanese way of giving service makes Hakone the perfect place for a tourist to enjoy the country abundant in tradition and luxury.

Furthermore, spending time at a ryokan in a hot spring resort in Hakone is the chance not just to sleep but also to use all of the five senses. The healing waters in the onsen, the masterful kaiseki dining, the stunning natural vistas, and the hospitality of ryokan make each of the components of a stay cultivate a serene state of mind and greatly sympathize with the culture. Wednesday 13 Unleashes Second Single “In Misery” from Upcoming Album ‘Mid Death Crisis’

0

Currently hitting venues across North America on his “There’s No Such Thing As Monsters” tour celebrating 20 years of Transylvania 90210, world-renowned fearsome frontman Wednesday 13 returns with the second single cut from his new full-length album, Mid Death Crisis, set to drop on April 25, 2025 via Napalm Records.

Following acclaimed, ultra-catchy latest single “When The Devil Commands”, brand new second single “In Misery” is a spooky rager, scratching the itch of both goth-punk and sleaze metal while deftly ebbing and flowing amid heavy genre influences and an earworm hook!

Wednesday 13 comments about “In Misery”: “There are too many love songs out there about people confessing their love to one another. I wanted to do the exact opposite, and confess the misery of being in a bad relationship. Hopelessly, madly in misery with someone. I see it every day, people miserable together. I see it almost as much as I see people happily together. Some people enjoy misery, and this song is about enjoying that misery as much as someone in Love.”

On April 9 and 10, ahead of their Power Up North American Tour, the band is throwing open the doors to their legendary High Voltage Dive Bar—a one-off U.S. experience right in Minneapolis at Machine Shop. Fans will get the rare chance to walk through a museum of AC/DC mayhem: iconic props, exclusive merch, and vinyl rarities that’ll make any collector’s heart skip a beat—and maybe short circuit. So dust off your devil horns, crank up the amp, and meet them at the dive bar—or better yet, at the stadium. The Power Up is real. It’s a long way to the top… but AC/DC’s already there.

The remix features a brand-new verse from Troye, which fans first got their hands on earlier this week after Dua brought Troye out for a surprise performance of “Rush” during one of her five sold-out nights at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena as part of her Radical Optimism World Tour. Following their performance, the duo went down into the crowd to gift one lucky fan a USB drive containing the unreleased track.

The collab comes on the heels of the 5th anniversary of Dua’s GRAMMY Award-winning, certified platinum sophomore album Future Nostalgia, which is also re-released today on a special triple vinyl edition in celebration of the anniversary. Pressed on one yellow splatter vinyl and two traditional black vinyl discs, the 3-LP set includes the album’s original 11 tracks, along with the deluxe Moonlight Edition, and the remix album Club Future Nostalgia, and is available to purchase here

The Australia/New Zealand leg of Dua’s Radical Optimism World Tour has been off to an exciting start, with six sold-out nights under its belt and four additional sold-out shows coming up across Sydney and Auckland. The show has received glowing reviews from the likes of Rolling Stone Australia, who gave the show four stars and raved it was “a triumph,” as well as from the Herald Sun, who praised the show was “a joyous mixtape of absolute bangers, relentless light shows, and dazzling costume changes.”

After wrapping up in Sydney and Auckland, she’ll kick off the Europe/UK leg in May before returning to North America in September. The tour features multiple nights in most cities, including two sold-out shows at Wembley Stadium in London and four-night runs at both Madison Square Garden in New York and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. Don Henley’s ‘Inside Job’ to Be Reissued May 23 for 25th Anniversary Following Eagles’ Sphere Residency

0

Following the Eagles’ groundbreaking residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Rhino will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Don Henley’s Inside Job with a newly remastered version on May 23. Henley’s fourth solo album will be reissued in multiple configurations, including a 180g 2-LP, 1CD, and digital versions.

Inside Job initially arrived on May 23, 2000. Upon release, it bowed at #7 on the Billboard 200, notching Henley’s highest debut as a solo artist. The album went on to earn a Platinum certification from the RIAA. The lead single, “Taking You Home,” catapulted to #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart and remains one of the album’s signature songs.

Henley co-produced Inside Job with longtime collaborator Stan Lynch, delivering standouts such as “Everything Is Different Now” and “For My Wedding.”  The reissue of Inside Job follows 2024 reissues of I Can’t Stand Still (1982), Building The Perfect Beast (1984), and Cass County (2015).

Best known as co-founder of the legendary rock band, the Eagles, as well as an influential solo artist, Don Henley has maintained an extraordinary commitment to music and various philanthropic efforts throughout his career, including a dedication to environmental issues and artists’ rights.

Raised in a small East Texas town, Henley was drawn to the sounds of exotic music broadcast from distant radio stations in New Orleans, Nashville, and Ciudad Acuna, Mexico. These stations introduced him to the blues, bluegrass, gospel, jazz, and rock and roll, paving the way for his future as an artist.

As a solo artist and member of the Eagles, Don Henley has received countless accolades, numerous gold and platinum records, and performed sold-out concert tours worldwide. A highly respected musical artist, Henley launched his solo career in 1982 with his debut album, I Can’t Stand Still. 1984’s Building The Perfect Beast followed, with four hit singles including “The Boys Of Summer, which earned Henley a Best Rock Vocal GRAMMY Award. The artist’s track record continued unabated with 1989’s The End Of The Innocence, which yielded three more hits, including the title track, and brought Henley another Best Rock Vocal GRAMMY Award. Henley is a founding member, drummer, vocalist, and songwriter of the Eagles. The group was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998 and continues to perform sold-out concerts all over the world.

Formed in 1971, the Eagles pioneered a uniquely American musical style, blending elements of country, folk, R&B, rock, and pop. Since then, it has become one of the most creatively and commercially successful bands of all time. Despite today’s fractured rock ’n’ roll landscape, the Eagles retain a timeless appeal that transcends both generations and genres, solidifying the band’s status as a musical icon.

The Eagles have sold more than 150 million albums worldwide, scoring six #1 albums and five chart-topping singles. They have earned six GRAMMY Awards, were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998, and received the Kennedy Center Honors in 2016. Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 stands as the best-selling album in history (certified 38-times platinum), while Hotel California ranks as the third best-selling U.S. album in history (certified 26-times platinum). Check Eagles.com for full band and tou information, including the band’s current residency at Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Maren Morris Shares Soulful New Single “carry me through” from Upcoming Album D R E A M S I C L E

0

Maren Morris has released the first song from her upcoming album D R E A M S I C L E, titled “carry me through”. The Greg Kurstin-produced single is a stripped-back ballad tinged with gospel and soul as Maren reflects on navigating a dark place and finding the strength to pull herself out – a theme of resilience that runs throughout the entire album.

The official video illustrates the message even further – once Maren sees that she herself is all she needs, her world goes from black and white to full glowing color.

Maren says: “This was written in early 2023 before a lot of things went down. I really do think sometimes songs are premonitions. I wanted to address some anxieties I was having but also give myself some peace by saying ‘it’s not all on you right now. lean on safe people.’ Listening to it brings me a little bit of peace, and I hope it does the same for others out there.”

Johnny 2 Phones and Hunna G Drop “Yankee Baby” as Official 2025 New York Yankees Anthem

0

In a baseball town like New York, and especially in the Bronx, spring doesn’t officially start until Yankees Opening Day. Today, two lifelong Yankees fans, artist Johnny 2 Phones and producer Hunna G unite to make an unforgettable Opening Day 2025, sharing “Yankee Baby,” the new official anthem of the New York Yankees.

The song arrives with a music video, featuring cameos from some of New York’s biggest stars, which will make its debut today on the Yankee Stadium jumbotron and is available to view on the official New York Yankees YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. “Yankee Baby” will remain on the Yankee Stadium playlist throughout the 2025 season. With co-signs from legends like Aaron Judge, A Boogie, and Jalen Brunson, who all appear in the music video, this record isn’t just celebrating baseball-it’s celebrating the city itself.

Propelled by Hunna G’s punchy percussion and twinkling pianos, “Yankee Baby” succinctly summarizes the optimistic excitement all fans feel at the start of baseball season. Johnny 2 Phones lifts the song with his pure vocals, rhyming and singing about his gameday routine: “Put my fitted on, I’m out the door in record speed/When I’m uptown bound, ain’t no stoppin’ me,” he raps. The upstate NY native weaves in references to notable Yankee figures like Derek Jeter and broadcaster Michael Kay, and ends the song by interpolating “Take Me Out To The Ballgame.”

Directed by Ryan Callahan, Cody Charneski, and Ethan Keo, the video is a tribute to The City That Never Sleeps, checking in on various landmarks as New Yorkers get hype for baseball season. Rocking a special “2 Phones” Yankees jersey, Johnny is the ideal ambassador for Yankee fans across the Big Apple, tapping his Bernie Williams bobblehead for good luck before heading uptown and joining Hunna G on the Yankee Stadium field. Several local sports stars show up to support, including AL MVP Aaron Judge, Bronx-born rap star A Boogie, New York Knicks guards and Roommates Podcast co-hosts Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart, and Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty-along with Ellie, the beloved Liberty mascot. New York-based social media stars like Lil Mo Mozzarella and Nicky Cass, also stop by to add a bit of flavor.

“It’s crazy – it started with a sign in Times Square, and now I’m in Yankee Stadium shooting a music video,” says Johnny 2 Phones. “The city’s been rocking with me since the If You Can Dance series, and it feels like they’re right here with me on this one too.”

“From first making music together in our dorm room to being the 2025 anthem of the Yankees’ season, you don’t see independent artists and producers doing this sort of thing, and we’re both super grateful for it,” says Hunna G.

The perfect anthem to enhance Opening Day and welcome spring with open arms, “Yankee Baby” is a must-hear for fans of music, sports, and NYC culture alike.
