Greensky Bluegrass Celebrates 25 Years With New Version Of “Windshield” Featuring Holly Bowling

As they celebrate 25 years together, Greensky Bluegrass unveil a new take on their beloved song “Windshield,” now featuring longtime collaborator Holly Bowling. Listen to/share the song HERE.

“It’s hard to convey how important Holly is to our band,” says Paul Hoffman. “She fits right in musically, personally and spiritually. I absolutely adore making music with her. During Covid we played a show as a duo, and it was my first experience reconnecting with another musician in a while. We played ‘Windshield,’ and I didn’t even want to play. We’ve done it live a few times since. Most notably last year in the audience at Red Rocks. By far one of the most powerful performance moments of my life.”

“Windshield” is the latest preview from the band’s forthcoming album, XXV, due October 31 via Big Blue Zoo Records/Thirty Tigers—a special anniversary release landing on the exact date of the band’s formation. Pre-order the album HERE.

Ahead of the album, the band has shared re-imagined versions of fan-favorites “Reverend” featuring bluegrass superstar and Grammy-Award winner Billy Strings, “Old Barns” and “Can’t Stop Now” featuring Sam Bush.

Tomorrow, the band will take the stage for their 20th performance at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre, alongside opener Margo Price.

“We’ve called on some dear friends to breathe a touch of new life into some classic Greensky songs for your listening pleasure,” says dobroist Anders Beck. “We’ve reinvented the sounds of some of our (dare I say) ‘hits’ because after a quarter century of Greensky Bluegrass, with plenty of new music on the horizon, we believe it’s worth celebrating what the five of us have created together… and we want you to have a damn good time listening to it.”

Greensky Bluegrass started at an impromptu show in 2000 in Kalamazoo, Michigan and have developed into a marquee live act and staple in the progressive bluegrass space. XXV brings together many friends and collaborators of the band throughout their 25-year run—Sam Bush, Billy Strings, Lindsay Lou, Nathaniel Rateliff, Aoife O’Donovan, Holly Bowling and more. Each of these special guests represent chapters of the band’s continued journey.

The group is on the road for a host of headline and festival dates across North America, continuing their landmark 25th year. Stops include Charlotte, Milwaukee, Miami Beach, Jacksonville and Madison, as well as two special hometown anniversary shows at Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo, MI on October 31 and November 1. Raised in the wilds of Vancouver Island and classically trained in piano, 25-year-old Elysia Biro (pronounced Eh-lee-sha Bee-row) is a technically gifted singer, songwriter, and pianist. At 13, inspired by the genre’s improvisational free form, she taught herself how to play jazz by ear and began writing her own music. After graduating high school at 16, Biro earned her Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies for piano and voice before moving to England to complete her Master’s of Music degree at the University of York.

The acclaimed Italian singer-songwriter Damiano David has today released Funny Little Fears Dreams. The new edition features five brand-new tracks as a special gift to fans ahead of his massive world tour. Download / stream the album here.
 
Announcing the surprise album on his social channels earlier this week Damiano says: “I turned my fears into dreams. This is my gift to you and to everyone joining me on tour.”
 
The new version opens with the new single Talk to Me, featuring South African sensation and Grammy Award winner Tyla and legendary, multiple Grammy Award winner Nile Rodgers. The track marks an exciting collaboration that unites Damiano with Tyla’s distinctive vocal style, and the unmistakable groove of Nile Rodgers. Watch the music video from 6pm BST here.

The album continues with Cinnamon, featuring Albert Hammond Jr (The Strokes). A vibrant, guitar-led track where Hammond Jr’s signature riffs intertwine with Damiano’s melodic intensity, bringing an uplifting energy to the collection. On Naked, Damiano presents a stripped-back, intimate ballad, exploring vulnerability and emotional honesty. Mysterious Girl offers a catchy, cinematic, dark-pop atmosphere with an irresistible hook, showcasing Damiano’s storytelling and his ability to craft intrigue through music. The final new track on the extended is Over, a soaring, cathartic track in which heartbreak is transformed into hope, perfectly encapsulating the album’s journey from fear to dream.
 
Elsewhere, Damiano livestreamed seven songs from the opening night of his world tour in Warsaw via TikTok on Thursday. The livestream included three tracks from the extended edition, Mysterious Girl and Cinnamon, alongside fan favorites Born With A Broken Heart, The First Time, Voices as well as a cover of Chappell Roan’s Pink Pony Club and new single Talk To Me.
 
Fans worldwide were given the first opportunity to hear the new songs a few hours before their official timed release.
 
Following the success of Funny Little Fears, which features collaborations with Suki Waterhouse and d4vd, these new additions further cement Damiano’s commitment to expanding his musical horizons through bold, boundary-pushing creative partnerships.

Today, Ed Sheeran releases his brand-new album Play (listen here). To celebrate the release, he has dropped the official video for his new single “Camera”, starring Phoebe Dynevor.

Ed Sheeran’s epic new single “Camera” — co-produced by ILYA (Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello), Andrew Watt (Post Malone) and Louis Bell (Justin Bieber)— reinforces Sheeran’s mastery of balladry and lyrical depth. Inspired by his wife Cherry, the track exudes reverence and serves as a celebration of deep connection. Directed by longtime collaborator Emil Nava, the official music video – starring Sheeran alongside Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor – portrays the early stages of a romantic relationship. Shot entirely on iPhone from the characters’ perspectives, the video depicts the raw spontaneity and thrill of new love as they explore Croatia’s picturesque Old Town, cruise on a moped, bar-hop into the night, and even share the stage at one of Sheeran’s stadium shows.

Madison Cunningham Releases ‘Wake’ Featuring Fleet Foxes And Announces New Album ‘Ace’

Today, Los Angeles singer-songwriter Madison Cunningham releases the second single, “Wake (ft. Fleet Foxes),” from her highly anticipated third studio album Ace. The pivotal and heartbreaking record spans 14 tracks and is out on October 10 on Verve Forecast. Also announced today is Cunningham’s The Ace Tour, beginning on January 6th, 2026 in San Francisco. Featuring Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes, the pair of songwriters present a delicate, dazzling song featuring Cunningham on dueling acoustic guitars. “Wake” is a song about reflection, about looking in the rearview mirror and seeing someone wasn’t right for you all along. They sing, “It hits me as I drive away / I’ll never see your hair go gray.”

Cunningham first met Pecknold backstage at one of her shows, putting a face to the music she had long adored. “Fleet Foxes’ melodies and songs have inspired me for as long as I can remember,” Cunningham says. “I feel quite lucky to have been able to experience his genius up close.”

Last month, Madison announced Ace and shared the first single, “My Full Name,” a vulnerable introduction that is both a love letter and a goodbye. Recently off the road with Mumford & Sons on their “Railroad Revival” Tour, the renowned guitarist and true artist’s artist steps into her own lane with Ace. Cunningham presents a fourteen-track album that is honest and full of heart, even as it breaks. A follow up to her GRAMMY award-winning album, Revealer (2022), Cunningham wanted to take risks with Ace, leading with her emotions, following whatever path they showed her. “You think you’re on the verge of true healing but something scares you,” she says, “And you have to start all over.”

Named by Hozier as one of the “most talented creative forces of our generation,” Madison Cunningham is a singer-songwriter and guitarist with two previous albums on Verve Forecast, Who Are You Now (2019) and Revealer (2022), which won the GRAMMY for “Best Folk Album.” She’s collaborated as a guitarist and as a vocalist with countless artists including Lucy Dacus, Remi Wolf, Mumford & Sons, Lucius, and Andrew Bird, among others.

Jacob Collier Announces New Album ‘The Light For Days’ Centered On Guitar

 In just one short year since closing the loop on the staggering universe of Djesse – the four-album, seven-year series that spawned hundreds of collaborations, hundreds of songs and hundreds of thousands of voices in song from around the world – Jacob Collier is embarking on his next creative adventure. On October 10th, the seven-time GRAMMY winner will release The Light For Days (Hajanga/Interscope/Decca), a brand new record centered around a single instrument: the guitar. Featuring six original songs and five handpicked covers of longtime idols and inspirations such as James Taylor, John Martyn, The Beatles and The Beach Boys, this collection of music captures Collier at his most present and immediate. Gone are the pressures to outdo himself and continue exceeding the infinite possibilities, limitless capabilities and boundless expectations set by each growing installment of Djesse – The Light For Days is Collier freeing himself to be himself in his rawest, purest form.

Jacob Collier never anticipated when or how his next album would come, until it did. During a brief trip home to London, sitting in the same music room where his career began, surrounded by walls, shelves, desks and drawers full of instruments, he chose to explore his 5-string and 10-string signature Taylor acoustic guitars more fully than he ever had before. Through alternate tunings (“DAEAD”) and techniques, he trades scale for intimacy. Recorded and produced in only four days, The Light For Days reflects a core pillar of Collier’s artistry, offering a sonic counterpart to the moments in his live shows when everything falls away and it is just him and the music he loves. Following his recently-released rendition of the last Brian Wilson’s “Keep An Eye On Summer,” Jacob Collier has shared the latest preview of the album, an original song called “I Know (A Little),” available now.

“Since completing the Djesse album series, my imagination has been brimming with all sorts of ideas of things I’d like to do and create. One of the things I’ve wanted to really focus on, and zone into, is the limitation of a single instrument. The acoustic-guitar sound world has been a foundational aspect of my music universe for as long as I can remember, and so I set myself the challenge of making a full-length album, using almost entirely the five-stringed guitar, in just four days. As a result I had to work so fast that I couldn’t second-guess anything – I just had to roll with and trust the process. The results are warm, scrappy, imperfect, but very close to my heart.” – Jacob Collier

For those who have seen Jacob Collier’s magnetic and intimate performances live, or come into the Jacob community through the lens of songs such as “Hideaway”, “The Sun Is In Your Eyes” and “Little Blue,” The Light For Days feels like coming home. For everyone else, it is an album that shows him in a whole new light, while serving as a powerful reminder of the voice and versatility that have earned him seven GRAMMY wins and 15 nominations across genres. It is the first album to feature his lone human face on the cover, as he continues to ask the world to embrace “the wiggle”: softness is strength, and when we make music, we move and bend together.

Last month, Jacob Collier previewed The Light For Days during a surprise playback at his inaugural Hideaway Retreat, where he and 300 musicians and music enthusiasts transformed Tarrytown, NY into the center of his radically joyful world. The event marked a culmination of a year that has seen him earn his fifteenth GRAMMY nomination, and his second for Album of The Year; honor his late mentor and musical hero, Quincy Jones, on the GRAMMY telecast; headline the O2 Arena in his London hometown; collaborate with Bon Iver, as well as 9,000 primary school children as part of the UK’s ‘Young Voices’ choir initiative; conduct the National Symphony Orchestra in a completely improvised performance; perform atop an Arctic iceberg with AURORA and Greenpeace; and lead hundreds of thousands of concert attendees in his immersive audience choirs.

Cat Stevens was launched to fame in the swinging sixties, with chart-topping pop hits like “Matthew & Son” and “The First Cut Is The Deepest.” His early career was interrupted by a near-fatal battle with tuberculosis – a turning point that ignited his quest for peace and understanding. Emerging from this experience, he rapidly rose to become one of the most prolific singer-songwriting icons of the seventies, captivating the world with soul-stirring anthems like “Wild World,” “Father And Son,” “Peace Train,” and “Morning Has Broken.” His classic albums Mona Bone Jakon, Tea for the Tillerman and Teaser and the Firecat have earned him a rightful place in both the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Following another dangerous encounter with fate and near-drowning experience in 1975, Cat’s life took a spiritual turn as he converted to Islam and changed his name to Yusuf Islam. Leaving the music industry behind, Yusuf dedicated his life to God, family, and humanitarian work, which saw him receive numerous prestigious international awards including the World Award for “humanitarian relief work helping children and victims of war” and the Man of Peace Award, voted for by The Nobel Peace Laureates.

The latest chapter is Yusuf’s return to music, through which he has re-joined his past and present lives. Now known as Yusuf / Cat Stevens – a name that represents the synergy between the two key periods of his life – his inspirational story is one of quest, survival, and redemption.
