FLO and Chy Cartier Team Up for Bold “Get It Till I’m Gone” Remix Ahead of Massive North American Tour

FLO releases an official remix to “Get It Till I’m Gone” featuring rising British rapper Chy Cartier, lifted from their critically acclaimed debut album Access All Areas.

Following a surprise joint performance earlier this month, FLO has released the hotly anticipated remix to fan-favourite album track “Get It Till I’m Gone,” featuring rising rap artist Chy Cartier. The remix unites two trailblazing Black British artists who are shaping the future of UK Rap and R&B, for a powerful anthem of self-worth and undeniable confidence. Chy’s razor-sharp lyricism blends effortlessly with FLO’s signature vocals and harmonies, injecting the already standout track with bold new energy and intensity.

Speaking about the remix FLO said: “We’re so excited about this collab. Chy is a very special artist and exactly what the industry needs! We’re so happy that she added her signature flair to one of our favourite songs from AAA. BAP BAP BAP!”

Chy Cartier added: “As soon as I heard ‘GITIG,’ I knew I had to hop on it. FLO brings that real R&B vibe, so I had to match that energy in my own way. My verse is about a guy moving mad, catching attitudes like he’s the one in his feelings, then trying to spin back when it’s too late. You know I had to do my big one and keep it all the way real!”

The remix follows an incredible year for FLO, who released their debut album Access All Areas this past November. The album became the highest charting album for a British R&B girl group in 23 years, with The New York Times hailing them a “girl group for the new generation”. Alongside a Top 3 chart position in the UK, the trio debuted on Billboard Top 200, and achieved over 605 million all-time global streams under their belt. The well-received debut album saw Pitchfork give the album an 8/10 rating stating, “The UK trio’s debut delivers a confident vision of what a modern girl group can be: tender, headstrong, and unified, with a clear point of view and harmonies for days.” The Times and NME gave the album stellar 4* ratings, with NME labelling it as “a front row seat to the next big thing” whilst their cover story for Dazed called Access All Areas “a debut…that delivers on the promise of their hype”.

Next month, FLO will embark on their highly anticipated “Access All Areas” tour. Kicking off in North America, the 27-date tour marks their biggest yet and will see them play sold-out shows in New York, Atlanta, Toronto and more. Rescheduled UK and European dates will be announced soon.

Tina Turner’s “Private Dancer” Celebrated with Expansive 40th Anniversary Edition

Parlophone Records releases a 40th Anniversary Edition of GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Tina Turner’s iconic breakthrough album, Private Dancer. Out now, this special anniversary edition offers a stunning array of previously unreleased tracks, live performances, and footage, honoring the legacy of an artist whose music transformed the world. Private Dancer (40th Anniversary Edition) is available as a 5CD/Blu-ray, 2CD, a 1LP Pearl vinyl, and a 1LP picture disc. BUY HERE.

The centerpiece of this release is the 5CD/Blu-ray set, which includes the newly upgraded 55-minute Private Dancer Tour show filmed at the NEC in Birmingham between two historic nights, March 23 and 24, 1985. Directed by David Mallet and featuring unforgettable performances with David Bowie and Bryan Adams, this landmark concert has been meticulously restored, offering a front-row experience of Turner at her electrifying best. Alongside the live performance, the set includes five upgraded music videos, with the “Private Dancer” fully restored to HD from its original 35mm film which is now available in 4K on YouTube.

Earlier this year, a surprise treasure from Turner’s vaults was unveiled: the previously unheard track “Hot For You Baby.” Written by Australian musicians George Young and Harry Vanda and produced by John Carter, the track was recorded at Capitol Studios in Hollywood and was originally intended to be an album track. It was thought to be lost to time, but this thrilling discovery introduces a fresh chapter in the Private Dancer story.

Additional Private Dancer formats include a 2CD edition, a striking 1LP picture disc featuring the official UK/EU cover on one side and the US cover on the other, and a limited-edition 1LP pearl vinyl with a 12×12 art card of the US album artwork. Originally released in May 1984, Private Dancer marked Turner’s triumphant comeback, becoming a cultural phenomenon. Dubbed by American Songwriter as “one of the most charismatic comebacks of modern rock” and AllMusic as “without question,… Turner’s finest hour as a solo artist.” The 5x platinum record peaked at [#2 on the UK Albums Chart] #3 and #1 on the Billboard 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. Andy Frasco & The U.N. continue their high-energy run into 2025 with the release of “Swinging for the Fences,” the latest single from their upcoming album, Growing Pains, out May 23. A swaggering, Motown-inspired jam featuring G. Love and Eric Krasno (Lettuce, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Soulive), the song is a playful but heartfelt meditation on aiming high in love-even when the odds (and your bank account) say otherwise.

Fancy Hagood delivers a ’90s-pop-country take on Lucie Silvas’ “My Old Habits.” The latest bonus track from his upcoming American Spirit: The Last Drag, a deluxe version of Fancy’s acclaimed 2024 album, “My Old Habits” brings the American Spirit story full-circle. The song release comes on the tails of Fancy receiving two nominations at this year’s A2IM Libera Awards for Country Record and Self Released Record Of The Year.

When deciding songs for the deluxe album, I knew I wanted to cover her song ‘My Old Habits,’ because it’s been a favorite song of mine forever. Reid Haughton Delivers a Bluesy Warning With “You Should Be Worried About Me” and Announces 2025 Tour Dates

Nashville singer-songwriter Reid Haughton releases his soulful new track “You Should Be Worried About Me,” a bluesy warning to good-for-nothing boyfriends everywhere. He uses his unassuming Alabama twang, a stirring organ and a menacing guitar to hammer his point across – telling us all not to count him out.

“‘You Should Be Worried About Me’ started with the keys part, and we all loved that feel and knew we wanted to write something to that,” shares Haughton. “We wanted to craft a storyline that matched the confidence of the track, which is how we landed on the thought of the guy waiting his turn to treat a girl how she should’ve been treated all along. It’s one of my favorite tracks I’ve ever recorded, and I’m really excited to get it out to the world.”

The new track follows “The Wheel,” his easygoing collaboration with fellow Alabama native Drake White that gave Haughton his biggest streaming week ever. Last year, he released his debut LP Higher Than 9, combining his classic country influences with the Southern rock he grew up on. The Sadler Vaden-produced album captures the freewheeling energy of a bar band and his quintessentially Deep South storytelling that only comes from someone raised just South of Muscle Shoals. The record garnered praise from MusicRow, Whiskey Riff and Holler who called it “an electrifying release, a crank-it-up collection of tunes all fueled by muddied blues rock and red-hot Southern soul.”

Haughton cut his teeth playing college bars and has since spent years on the road supporting artists like Whiskey Myers and 49 Winchester. Most comfortable on a stage, Haughton always aims to preserve the raw, live band essence on his recorded music – letting his love of artists like the Grateful Dead and Jimi Hendrix shine through. Rolling Stone put it best when they said, “Haughton’s brand of guitar-based country should satisfy a whole bunch, from Southern rock to mainstream country fans.”

This month, Haughton will play Nashville’s famed The Station Inn with Dan Alley and Kasey Tyndall before continuing his run with Hudson Westbrook. The SteelDrivers Honor Late Founder Mike Henderson With “Outrun” and Announce New Album on Sun Records

That SteelDrivers sound. Those already initiated with the two-decade-running, Grammy-winning quintet The SteelDrivers will know exactly what it means—the bluesy-leaning, stomp inducing, singular style that’s made fans of folks from Adele to Bill Murray to hundreds of thousands more fans across the globe for the past two decades. Between The SteelDrivers’ unique thump and chop of the rhythm section and seamless harmonies and vocal delivery, the Americana sum becomes greater than its bluegrass parts, an x-factor that’s still present in today’s new release, “Outrun,” the title track of a brand new SteelDrivers album due out on May 23rd on the iconic Sun Records.

Written by the SteelDrivers’ own Tammy Rogers (fiddle) and Matt Dame (guitar) along with longtime SteelDriver co-writer Leslie Satcher, “Outrun” was written in the eleventh hour ahead of the recording of Outrun. “I happened to run into [Satcher] the weekend before we were scheduled to go into the studio and told her we didn’t have any ‘Leslie songs’ on the upcoming record,” says Rogers. “She made the time to get together and ‘Outrun’ was written in about an hour and a half!” Mandolinist Brent Truitt calls it his favorite song from the new project, adding, “‘Outrun’ has all the elements that will likely elevate it to a SteelDriver classic in short order.”

Part murder-ballad, part getaway thriller, “Outrun” uses verse vignettes to tell its story while the song’s chorus is a universal lesson, or maybe just a warning: “You can’t out run the Mississippi River in a Shelby GT Ford / You can’t out run the angels, you can’t out run the lord / You can’t out run a broken heart that gives into a gun / And you can’t out run the grim reaper once the deed is done.”

Beyond the ever-evolving musical nature of The SteelDrivers, this seamless ebb and flow between intricate bluegrass and the hardscrabble blues, another key element of Outrun is this underlying tribute to late founding member Mike Henderson. And though Henderson passed away in 2023, his memory and presence is still profoundly felt by the group, onstage and in the studio. “I lovingly refer to Mike as the architect of the band,” Rogers says. “Because he’s the one in the beginning that called us all together. Everybody respected everybody else, and that’s what created our sound and what makes it so unique.”

 Only Nashville could give birth to a band like The SteelDrivers, a group of seasoned veterans—each distinguished in his or her own right, each valued in the town’s commercial community—who are seizing an opportunity to follow their hearts to their souls’ reward.
