Dasha Turns Up the Heat With Fiery New ‘Anna’ EP and Empowering Single “Work on Me”

Today, multi-platinum country star Dasha rolls out her hotly anticipated Anna EP via Warner Records. Listen HERE. Dasha continues with the car imagery in the feel-good video, which finds her running an auto shop with a team of bad-ass women mechanics. When a customer gives the glamorous boss an attitude, she promptly dismantles his truck — that is, when she’s not indulging in a little workshop choreography with the girls. A nod to her birth name, the Anna EP is a deeply personal body of work that revisits formative memories while carving a bold path forward. On the wistful “Train,” Dasha ruminates on planting new roots: “You learn the turns and time the lights, the town you didn’t recognize / Becomes a little more like home.” The song, penned by songwriter Kyle Sturrock, resonated with Dasha as a reflection of her own journey, leaving home at 18 to find her footing in Nashville.

John Lodge, the legendary bassist, vocalist, and songwriter of The Moody Blues, passed away suddenly in October 2025 at the age of 82. John Charles Lodge was born on July 20, 1943, in Birches Green near Erdington, Birmingham, England.
He attended Birches Green Infant and Junior School, then Central Grammar School.
Before pursuing music full-time, he studied engineering at the Birmingham College of Advanced Technology.
His early musical inspirations included Buddy Holly and Jerry Lee Lewis.
At just 14, Lodge met Ray Thomas — a friendship that would lead to The Moody Blues.

WERIO Faces Adulthood With Soul and Honesty on New EP ‘27’

“Now at 28, I just want to be a functional adult who finishes songs. I don’t want to transcend or become a legend like those in the 27 Club.” With that statement, WERIO introduces 27, his second EP: a work that explores vulnerability, contradiction, and the need to reconcile what has been lived with what has been dreamed.

Half in Spanish and half in English, 27 consists of four songs that blend neo soul and pop rock with a progressive twist. Vibrant guitars, organic drums, bass, and an intimate, magnetic voice. Labyrinthine lyrics and cinematic references intertwine with grooves that embrace both teenage nostalgia and the unease of adulthood.

The journey begins with “Wanderlust”, the lead single (September 2025): a celebration of healthy, fearless love, with a neo soul-pop rhythm that breathes sensuality and freshness. It will be followed by tracks such as “Charcos” and “Bomba de Humo”, delving into contradiction, the vertigo of growing up, and the need to reconcile with the everyday, all wrapped in a raw sound.

2. Exclude tracks from your Taste Profile

Yellowcard Charge Into a New Era With ‘Take What You Want’ and Upcoming Album ‘Better Days’

Yellowcard are celebrating today’s global release “Take What You Want” with an accompanying music video showcasing footage taken during the band’s recent tours in Japan, Australia and Europe.

“Take What You Want” is the third new song from the group’s forthcoming studio album “Better Days” releasing worldwide on October 10th. “Take What You Want” follows the release of the first two songs “Better Days” and “honestly i” which have accumulated over 4-million streams since release on May 28th.

The highly anticipated new album is produced, and executive produced, by Travis Barker with Barker also playing drums on every song. The album’s title track “Better Days” is at radio now and in just 4 weeks, is already up to #13 on the Mediabase Alternative chart.

“The new track ‘Take What You Want’ really captures the amazing energy of these sessions with Travis Barker producing. The drums immediately pull you in, and the melodies are so focused and memorable,” says lead singer Ryan Key.

Once ubiquitous on MTV and the Billboard Hot 100, the Vans Warped Tour veterans, whose first two albums produced double-platinum and gold title tracks, sound fully recharged and revitalized in 2025.

The band agreed that making a new album was pointless unless it was the best of their career. They refused to rush the process and for the first time gave themselves permission to ask for help. Ryan Mendez invited his long-time friend Nick Long into the writing sessions and it was through Long that Barker became part of the project, coming on board to play drums and produce the whole album.

“I started the record as one version of myself and came out the other side changed,” says front man Ryan Key who credits Barker with a significant impact on his personal and creative studio breakthroughs. “I went in knowing I needed help. I came out of it writing songs like I was 19 again.”

In June, Yellowcard announced their co-headline “Maximum Fun Tour” alongside A Day To Remember running from September 5th through November 22nd with stops on both the Warped Tour and When We Were Young Festival (complete tour schedule below).

Formed in Jacksonville FL in 1997, Yellowcard became one of the most influential bands in the 2000’s alternative rock scene. Known for blending high energy pop punk with a signature violin twist, their 2003 breakthrough Ocean Avenue is certified Platinum with the title track now certified 2X Platinum. With over 4 million albums sold worldwide and over 1 billion streams, the band is poised for continued success on this new endeavor. After disbanding in 2017, Yellowcard reunited in 2022 entering into a new creative era and a year packed with a global tour to support it.

The legendary Los Angeles ska-punk pioneers Fishbone’s powerful KEXP Live Session, is now streaming on YouTube. Captured during the Seattle stop of their packed summer tour, the performance showcases the band’s unmatched energy, musical mastery, and timeless message.

The setlist features fan favorites and socially charged anthems, including “Racist Piece of Sh*t,” “Party at Ground Zero,” “Ma & Pa,” “Last Call in America,” and “Dog Eat Dog.” Recorded at KEXP, one of the world’s most influential listener-supported radio stations, the session captures Fishbone’s fire in front of a global audience.

The KEXP performance followed the release of their latest album, Stockholm Syndrome, a summer of explosive shows across the U.S., including a special appearance at the GRAMMY Museum, a featured slot on Less Than Jake’s Summer Circus Tour, and standout sets on the Vans Warped Tour in Washington, D.C., and Long Beach, CA.

While every incarnation of Fishbone’s storied history has contributed to the band’s enduring influence and cultural legacy. Today’s lineup has been met with widespread praise for keeping the Fishbone flame burning brighter than ever. Fronted by the irrepressible Angelo Moore and longtime creative force Christopher Dowd, the group features a revitalized ensemble including bassist James Jones, drummer Hassan Hurd, trumpeter/vocalist John “JS” Williams II, and the welcome return of guitarist Tracey “Spacey T” Singleton-each bringing fresh energy and precision to Fishbone’s unmistakable sound.
