Big Time Rush Announces In ‘Real Life Worldwide’ Tour with Katelyn Tarver & Stephen Kramer Glickman

Big Time Rush is gearing up for a massive 2025 with the announcement of a brand-new tour, BIG TIME RUSH IN REAL LIFE WORLDWIDE.

BIG TIME RUSH IN REAL LIFE WORLDWIDE will give fans exactly what they’ve long asked for – the band will play every song from every episode of their hit Nickelodeon show, many of which, have never been played live. Rushers will finally get to revisit their favorite moments from the show, plus many more surprises. Katelyn Tarver and Stephen Kramer Glickman, also known as Jo and Gustavo on the show, will be joining the band as support on all tour dates, making for an epic reunion.

Produced by Live Nation, the tour will kick off in Birmingham, AL on July 9. Carlos, Kendall, James & Logan will hit over 50 cities this year in the U.S., U.K. and Europe in a career-spanning, worldwide celebration of their hits, their fans & their friendship. The band is set to announce additional tour dates in more countries at another time.

The pop-up event will be at MG Studios, located at 1319 W. 11th Street, in downtown Los Angeles and will be open to the public from 11am-5pm on Saturday, March 1 and from 11am-4pm on Sunday, March 2. Fans of Big Time Rush (the band and the TV show) will be able to explore several nostalgia-packed spaces and relive unforgettable moments from the TV show – step inside the Palm Woods, Rocque Records, get an exclusive look at memorabilia from the show, merch and more.

Big Time Rush became an overnight sensation in 2009 from the launch of the Nickelodeon television series Big Time Rush. The show was a huge success and catapulted the group into real-life stardom, as they went on to release 3 studio albums and performed across the globe, including five tours from 2011 to 2014. In June 2020, the band held a surprise virtual reunion to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their smash hit “Worldwide,” resulting in mass hysteria amongst their fans and in the media. In March 2021, all four seasons of Nickelodeon’s Big Time Rush were added to Netflix and the band went viral once again, increasing fan demand for an official reunion. Soon after, the band announced they would come together for two special live shows in New York and Chicago, both of which sold-out in a matter of minutes, blowing expectations out of the water and proving the power of the band’s devoted fandom.

Since reuniting, Big Time Rush has completed three back-to-back sold-out tours, selling out venues across the globe, including New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden. Their first new album in over 10 years, Another Life, was released in 2023 to praise from critics and fans alike.

Big Time Rush became an overnight sensation in November 2009 when the scripted TV show of the same name launched on Nickelodeon. The show focused on the Hollywood adventures of four hockey players from Minnesota after they were selected to form a boy band. The show became a huge success and later, Carlos, Kendall, James, and Logan came to life as a band off the screen releasing three full length albums and performing across the globe. As the show concluded in July 2013 and after four years of recording music and touring as a band, they went their separate ways but remained close friends through the years.

After 7 years, in an effort to bring joy to their fans during quarantine around the world, the members of Big Time Rush decided to appear together as a group to send a message of love and togetherness. This was soon followed by a socially distant performance of an acoustic version of their smash hit, “Worldwide”. These appearances resulted in hysteria amongst their fans and in the media, followed by BTR receiving 10+ million streams in 2020 alone. Four seasons of the TV show were added to Netflix in March 2021 and have appeared in the Netflix “Top 10” trending titles.

The band finished off 2021 with a performance at iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in Philadelphia as well as 2 sold out shows in Chicago and NYC, capping it off with the release of their first single in 8 years, “Call It Like I See It”.

The power group kicked off 2022 stronger than ever with the launch of their wildly successful, sold-out Forever Tour, as well as all new music, including hit singles “Honey,” “Fall,” and “Not Giving You Up.” The Forever Tour included numerous sell outs including shows in Chicago, at New York City’s legendary Madison Square Garden and on all dates on their Mexico Tour. The tour concluded in early 2023 in South America with shows in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Chile.

Another Life, which was released in June of 2023, was the band’s first new studio album release in ten years and was followed up by a special deluxe version in November. The band’s 2023 Can’t Get Enough Tour sold out amphitheater and arena shows – selling out venues across the US including Los Angeles’s KIA Forum and New York’s Jones Beach on the 39-city run. Across 2022 and 2023 the band’s reunion resulted in over 600,000 tickets sold.

2024 was another incredible year for Big Time Rush, including several sold-out international tours in the UK, Europe, Asia & Australia. The band ended the year with their sold-out holiday extravaganza – Big Time Rush On Ice – bringing their fans together for a first of its kind skating and concert spectacle on ice.

Opening with tracks from MUTT, his latest album, Thomas captivated the room with effortless vocals, rich storytelling, and undeniable presence.

A seasoned entertainer since childhood, Thomas honed his skills on Broadway, Nickelodeon, and under the mentorship of R&B legend Babyface. He’s not just an artist—he’s a songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, shaping the sound of modern R&B. His setlist blended MUTT standouts with selections from Electric Dusk, closing with Breaking Point, a tribute to his late grandfather, opera singer John Anthony.

Building on the success of its debut last year as Elsewhere Festival, Somewhere Festival & Conference returns June 13th-14th in Downtown Wichita, KS, further establishing itself as a groundbreaking celebration of music, community, and social change. The festival’s evolution reflects its growing role as a home for artists, music workers, and changemakers, while reinforcing Wichita’s status as a thriving creative and cultural hub. By uniting diverse artists, innovative technology, and a socially conscious audience, Somewhere Festival reimagines what a music festival can be.

This year’s lineup boasts globally acclaimed headliners: electronic music powerhouse Deadmau5, genre-bending artist Suki Waterhouse, rising hip-hop star BigXthaPlug, and visionary producer Flying Lotus. Alongside them, an eclectic mix of artists will span genres from hip-hop and electronic to rock and experimental, including Kim Gordon, Aloe Blacc with 2ŁØT, Cassian, Tinlicker Live, Jerro, Die Spitz, Tommy Newport, Elise Trouw, La Luz, Chris Luno, and more. The US tour will follow BTO’s massive Back In Overdrive Tour 2025, an extensive run of shows across Canada this April and May. Multi-platinum April Wine and Headpins, two fellow Canadian rock bands, will open in support. Tickets are on sale now.

Last year, Randy Bachman revived BTO, and has continued to tour throughout 2024 with a run of US dates wrapping up next week. Led by Bachman, BTO’s latest lineup also includes his son Tal Bachman. With Randy’s legendary guitar and Tal’s contemporary flair, BTO forges ahead, blending their classic hits with a fresh energy that captivates audiences worldwide. The band will also be performing hits from The Guess Who, the iconic classic rock group which Bachman co-founded with Burton Cummings. The BTO legacy lives on, promising unforgettable performances and a continued impact on the ever-evolving rock landscape.

Bachman has become a legendary figure in the rock and roll world through his talents as a guitarist, songwriter, performer and producer. Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts Announce ‘Love Earth’ World Tour

Today, Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts announce the Love Earth world tour, to take place this Summer. Kicking off on June 18 in Rättvik, Sweden, the first leg of the tour travels through the EU and UK. The North American leg begins in Charlotte on August 8 before concluding in Los Angeles on September 15.

Tickets are available beginning tomorrow, February 25 via an exclusive, 48-hour presale for Neil Young Archives members. General on-sale begins Friday, February 28. Click HERE for tickets and see the full list of dates below. More dates will be added shortly.

To protect the prices originally set by the artist, this tour will use Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange for all necessary resale and make tickets mobile only and restricted from transfer. This means if fans purchase tickets and can no longer attend, they’ll have the option to resell them to other fans at the original price paid using Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange tool. This applies to all shows except those in Illinois, New York, Utah, Virginia, and Canada, where Face Value Exchange cannot be mandated. Vicki Peterson and John Cowsill Release “Come to Me” Ahead of Debut Album ‘Long After The Fire’

Love is in the air with Vicki Peterson and John Cowsill’s new single, “Come to Me.”  The track is off the married couple’s debut album, Long After The Fire, produced and engineered by Paul Allen and coming out via Label 51 Recordings. Made up of songs written by John’s late brothers, Barry and Bill Cowsill, the LP is set for vinyl release on April 12th, Record Store Day. Magnet gave a sneak peek earlier this week. Vicki Peterson added, “The first time I heard ‘Come To Me’ was off of the cassette tape recording that John referenced. You could tell the band didn’t really know the song. You can hear Barry on the recording repeatedly saying, “Pick it up!” because the band was dragging the tempo. I think Barry would be so pleased with the atmosphere we created and Paul Allen gets the credit for the 70s-style reprise outro. The Cowsills were the first band I heard do that type of reprise on their song, ‘Contact Mae.’

Vicki Peterson of The Bangles (whose work includes #1 hit “Walk Like An Egyptian” and several other Top 10 songs, such as “Eternal Flame,” which is the biggest single by an all-female band in history) teams up with John Cowsill, drummer/vocalist for The Beach Boys for over 23 years and original member of the platinum-selling family band, The Cowsills to lovingly present their debut Americana album comprised of songs written by John’s late brothers, Barry and Bill Cowsill titled, Long After The Fire.

Vicki is a founding member of the 1980s group The Bangles, one of the most successful bands of that decade, with over 6 million gold and platinum albums sold. Their music has been synced on screen in everything from Austin Powers to Stranger Things and has transcended generations with more than 6 million current monthly listeners on streaming platforms, 390 million views on TikTok, and over half a billion channel views on YouTube as of 2024.

Peterson later wrote and performed with her good friend (and eventual sister-in-law) Susan Cowsill as The Psycho Sisters. The duo soon found themselves absorbed into the critically acclaimed New Orleans songwriters collective The Continental Drifters and remain with them today.

Throughout the 90’s, Vicki stayed active, appearing on albums with Tom Petty, John Doe, Hootie & The Blowfish, and Belinda Carlisle, and also toured with The Go-Go’s on their 1994-1995 reunion tour. The Bangles reunited in the 21st century to release four more albums.

At 7 years old, John began working in clubs, singing and playing drums with his family. The Cowsills became a worldwide sensation in the late 1960s, playing The Ed Sullivan Show and The Johnny Carson Show programs both three times, The Johnny Cash Show twice, and enjoyed several Top 20 hits, including “Hair” (#1 in four countries and #2 on US Billboard) and “The Rain, The Park, & Other Things” (#2 on US Billboard with over 3 million copies sold).

In 1981, John landed on the Tommy Tutone hit, “867-5309 (Jenny).” He also toured with Jan and Dean before becoming a mainstay of the Beach Boys touring band, playing guitar and piano, and finally sitting at the drum kit for over two decades, playing an average of 180 concerts annually. John made many television appearances with the band, including Good Morning America seven times, The Today Show six times, The Tonight Show w/ Jimmy Fallon, The Grand Ole Opry, and The Grammys.

Throughout his career, John has performed live and/or recorded work with Bob Dylan, Mamas & Papas, Harry Chapin, Maroon 5, Hermans Hermits, Mickey Dolenz (The Monkees), and Chuck Berry. John is also currently one of the lead singers for The Smithereens and the touring drummer for Peter Perrett (The Only Ones).

Vicki & John were already gaining attention and turning heads in 2024 with the LA Weekly writing a great review about their performance at The Troubadour, along with a feature about their duo in People Magazine. They were also featured performers at the 30A Songwriter’s Festival and the Vadsø Arts Festival in Norway.

Genesis’ The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway Gets the Ultimate 50th Anniversary Treatment

Few albums in the history of progressive rock hold the mythic status of Genesis’ The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway. Now, five decades after its release, the 1974 double album is set to receive a long-awaited Super Deluxe Edition, cementing its place as one of the genre’s most ambitious and enigmatic works. Originally scheduled for March, the deluxe box set will now arrive on June 13 via Rhino/Warner, but fans won’t have to wait to get a taste—Genesis has already released the 2025 remaster of the album’s iconic title track across streaming platforms here.

This expanded reissue promises to be the most definitive version of The Lamb yet, spread across multiple formats, including 5LP/Blu-ray, 4CD/Blu-ray, and a digital release featuring a Dolby ATMOS mix. Overseen by Peter Gabriel and Tony Banks, the new remaster by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios is sourced from the original 1974 analog tapes, offering the most faithful and dynamic version of the album to date. The set also includes a full recording of the band’s legendary Lamb tour performance at the Shrine Auditorium in 1975—complete with encore tracks Watcher of the Skies and The Musical Box—marking the first time this entire concert has been officially released.

Beyond the music, the box set offers a treasure trove for Genesis fans. A 60-page book featuring liner notes by acclaimed journalist Alexis Petridis delves into the making of The Lamb, featuring fresh interviews with all five band members—Peter Gabriel, Tony Banks, Phil Collins, Steve Hackett, and Mike Rutherford—something that hasn’t happened since the album’s original release. The book also showcases rare and unseen photographs from Armando Gallo, Richard Haines, and others, alongside a reproduction of the original 1975 tour program, a replica ticket, and a poster. Additionally, three never-before-released demos from the album’s sessions at Headley Grange are included as a digital download, offering deeper insight into the band’s creative process.

Regarded as one of the most intricate and polarizing albums in Genesis’ catalog, The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway marked the end of an era, as it would be the final studio album with Peter Gabriel before his departure from the band. Its sprawling, surreal narrative, filled with cryptic lyricism and genre-defying musical shifts, has inspired debate and analysis for decades. Petridis captures the essence of its legacy in his liner notes, describing it as “a flawed experiment, career highlight, prog masterpiece, and weirdly prescient precursor of punk—all at once.” Whether viewed as the pinnacle of early ’70s progressive rock or an audacious misstep, its influence remains undeniable.

With this Super Deluxe Edition, Genesis offers both longtime devotees and new listeners a chance to immerse themselves in the strange and spectacular world of The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway like never before. As the June 13 release date approaches, one thing is certain—nearly 50 years later, The Lamb continues to fascinate, confound, and inspire.
