On show for four weeks, Jack Bruce’s stunning 1950’s Cherry red stain EB-1 Violin Bass will be available to view exclusively only at the Gibson Garage London. The EB-1 was Gibson’s first ever electric bass and used by Jack Bruce for live performances with Cream and BBM. The display is in aid of the soon to be established Jack Bruce Foundation, which will support young people facing barriers accessing music education.

The magic and storytelling power of Hans Zimmer’s music is set to entrance audiences worldwide with an unforgettable cinematic experience: Hans Zimmer & Friends: Diamond in the Desert. This special global event captures an extraordinary live performance of some of Zimmer’s most revered compositions, including music from Dune, Gladiator, Interstellar, The Lion King, and much more. Decades of cinematic masterpieces are brought to life by his band and a world-class orchestra at Dubai’s iconic Coca-Cola Arena, the star-studded Al Wasl Plaza dome at Expo City Dubai and beyond. From the dunes of the Arabian Desert to the heights of Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, these performances deliver an intimate and unique experience of Zimmer’s most beloved and renowned movie soundtracks.

Featuring conversations with Billie Eilish, Sir Christopher Nolan, Denis Villeneuve, Finneas, Jerry Bruckheimer, Johnny Marr, Pharrell Williams, Tanya Lapointe, Timothée Chalamet, and Zendaya, and directed by Emmy-winning and multi-Grammy nominated Paul Dugdale, with Jerry Bruckheimer serving as Executive Producer, the film offers viewers a rare glimpse into Zimmer’s creative process. It explores the drive to create and the stories behind his closest collaborations.

Hans Zimmer & Friends: Diamond in the Desert will be released in select cinemas across The Americas, Europe, Asia, and United Arab Emirates, with limited screenings beginning Wednesday, March 19. Cinemas in Australasia and other countries in the Middle East will screen the film at a later date.

Tickets are on sale from Wednesday, February 5 at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET at hanszimmerfilm.com, along with full global screening information.

Hans Zimmer has scored more than 500 projects across all mediums, which combined, have grossed more than 28 billion dollars at the worldwide box office. Zimmer has been honored with two Academy Awards, three Golden Globes, four Grammys, an American Music Award, and a Tony Award. His work highlights include Dune: Part One, Top Gun: Maverick, No Time to Die, Gladiator, The Thin Red Line, As Good as It Gets, Rain Man, The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, Thelma and Louise, The Last Samurai, 12 Years A Slave, Blade Runner 2049 (co-scored with Benjamin Wallfisch) and Dunkirk, as well as David Attenborough’s Prehistoric Planet, and Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two, the follow-up to his Academy Award-winning score for Dune: Part One. Zimmer most recently created the score for Steve McQueen’s Blitz, which premiered at the BFI London Film Festival. The Vans Warped Tour Returns for 30th Anniversary with Simple Plan, Bowling for Soup, Pennywise And More

The wait is over! The Vans Warped Tour is back for its 30th anniversary with three two-day festivals, featuring a mix of beloved acts and exciting new talent. Today, the first group of performers were announced, including Warped Tour veterans Simple Plan, Bowling for Soup, Pennywise, and Miss May I, alongside Dance Hall Crashers, who will be reuniting after 20 years, and rising star Chandler Leighton, who will be making her Warped debut.

Festival Dates/Locations: Washington, D.C.: June 14-15 at the Festival Grounds at RFK Campus – Long Beach, CA: July 26-27 at Downtown Long Beach Shoreline Waterfront – Orlando, FL: Nov. 15-16 at Camping World Stadium Campus.

The complete lineup will be revealed over the next 30 days, with new artists announced daily until February 26. Each announcement will feature unique, artist-created content shared on the official Warped social channels.

Joywave Announces 2025 ‘Here to Perform…’ Spring Tour Dates

Joywave, the acclaimed indie rock band from Rochester, NY, has announced the first dates of their Here to Perform… Spring 2025 Tour. Dates kick off on April 16 in New Haven, CT, and run through May.

The tour will feature special guest little image as the supporting act. Artist Presale begins Tuesday, January 28th at 10am local time. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, January 31st at 10am local time.

About the tour, the band said, “2024 was a busy year for us with the release of Permanent Pleasure, the accompanying short film, a full North American tour, and a run through Europe. We weren’t ready for it to be over, so we figured we’d hit a bunch of cities in the US that got left out the first time. Expect a giant cat.”

Joywave’s upcoming tour is in support of their most recent release, the highly acclaimed fifth studio album, Permanent Pleasure. Armbruster offered a glimpse into the album’s thematic universe saying, “Permanent Pleasure. A decade in the sunbeam. A unique vantage point. Our job has become to sit and think. To experience and react. The album is really 10 thoughts from Joywave’s beam. I think most of the lyrics are taking place in the light as well, not loads of metaphors. Quite a bit more personal. The album is Joywave’s ‘whatever we want to do, whenever we want to do it’ at its best, and we loved the idea of the temporary state of the band name maturing into this album title.”
