Italian Glam Rockers Hot Rod Fire Up Debut Era With New Single “Wasted”

0

Italian glam rockers Hot Rod kick open the door to their debut album with the release of “Wasted,” a loud and unapologetic introduction to their new record ‘Harder Faster Glitter,’ which is out now through Street Symphonies Records and Burning Minds Music Group.

The track delivers a gritty blast of hard rock attitude that leans straight into the genre’s wild side. Crunching guitars, swaggering rhythms, and a rebellious edge push the song forward with real force. The music hits with confidence and volume, capturing the spirit of classic glam metal while keeping its boots planted firmly in the present.

Guitarist Christian Balsamo explains the mindset behind the track: “Wasted is rooted in raw, no-frills ’90s hard rock. Sound-wise, it sits somewhere between Steel Panther’s Feel The Steel and Warrant’s Dog Eat Dog: straight to the point, gritty, and unapologetic. The song comes from wild, booze-soaked nights spent roaming the city, and it wears that attitude on its sleeve.”

Formed in 2006, Hot Rod have spent years building their reputation through demos and high-energy live shows across Italy and beyond. Their sound blends the glossy swagger of 1980s glam metal with the rougher edge of ’90s hard rock, creating a punchy mix that celebrates loud guitars, big hooks, and full-throttle attitude.

“Wasted” sets the tone for ‘Harder Faster Glitter,’ an eleven-track debut that dives headfirst into that same unapologetic spirit. It is a hard-charging introduction to a group that understands exactly what glam metal is supposed to do: crank the volume and let it rip.

David and Howard Bellamy launched their career into the stratosphere with the timeless classic “Let Your Love Flow.” The song reached No. 1 on the U.S. charts in 1976 and quickly became an international hit. It remains one of the most recognizable songs of the decade and the starting point for a remarkable run that includes 14 No. 1 country singles.

The Ryman performance highlights a career that has moved effortlessly across genres, generations, and continents. From global touring to decades of chart success, The Bellamy Brothers remain one of country music’s most enduring acts. Songs like “If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body Would You Hold It Against Me,” “Redneck Girl,” “Do You Love As Good As You Look,” and “Old Hippie” continue to define their catalog.

Their song “Let Your Love Flow” recently soundtracked Budweiser’s Super Bowl commercial “First Delivery,” which earned the No. 1 spot in USA Today’s Ad Meter ranking. It was another reminder of the lasting cultural impact of the Bellamy Brothers.

Beyond the music, the duo continues expanding their reach through television and business ventures. Their series Honky Tonk Ranch streams on American Country Network and YouTube, offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at life on their Florida ranch and life on the road. Country Storyteller Leah Blevins Strikes Gold With New Single “Diggin’ In The Coal”

0

Leah Blevins continues the rollout of her upcoming album with the release of “Diggin’ In The Coal,” a powerful new track available now through Easy Eye Sound. Written with Dan Auerbach and Pat McLaughlin, the song delivers another compelling preview of Blevins’ forthcoming record ‘All Dressed Up’, arriving March 20, 2026.

Produced by Auerbach, the album marks Blevins’ Easy Eye Sound debut and highlights the Kentucky-raised songwriter’s gift for vivid storytelling. Her voice carries a striking balance of strength and vulnerability, grounded in the traditions of classic country while wrapped in a warm, retro glow.

“Diggin’ In The Coal” draws directly from Blevins’ family history. Her great grandfather and grandmother both worked in the coal mines of Kentucky, stories that stayed with her growing up. That imagery became the foundation for a song about resilience and support during life’s darker moments.

The track moves with a chugging rhythm and rich pedal steel, giving the song a confident drive. Blevins’ vocal sits front and center, delivering a melody that feels both timeless and deeply personal. The result is a standout entry in her growing catalog and another strong signal that ‘All Dressed Up’ is shaping into an important release.

Country Songwriter Brooke Lee Unveils Raw First-Love Reflection With New Single “Burn To Black”

0

Brooke Lee continues her rise with the release of “Burn To Black,” a haunting and emotionally direct new single available now through Spirit Nashville Recordings and 2Mix Music. The track introduces Lee’s forthcoming sophomore EP and arrives as another strong step forward for a songwriter already gaining attention across Nashville and beyond.

Lee has been quietly building serious momentum. Willie Nelson, Ty Myers, Wade Bowen, Gavin DeGraw, Redferrin, Needtobreathe, and Lukas Nelson have all recognized the Charlotte-born singer-songwriter’s ability, inviting her to share stages and collaborate. It is the kind of industry respect that rarely happens by accident. Lee earned it through sharp songwriting and commanding live performances.

“Burn To Black” digs into the emotional aftershock of first love. Written with Jon Nite and Danielle Blakey, the song circles around a difficult question that lingers long after the relationship ends. “Will I ever be able to effortlessly love again?” Lee’s vocal carries the weight of that uncertainty while the melody moves with quiet intensity.

The music lands with a slow-burning emotional pull. The storytelling is vivid and deeply personal, built around memories that refuse to fade. Lines like “We drank your daddy’s whiskey / I swam in my mama’s dress” paint the kind of scene that sticks with listeners long after the final chorus.

Lee brings the song to the stage next month when she joins Needtobreathe on their “Barely Elegant Acoustic Tour.” It is another major spotlight moment for a songwriter whose music continues to connect through honesty, emotion, and a voice that carries real gravity.

Outlaw Country Firebrand Paul Cauthen Struts Forward With ‘Book Of Paul’ And “Texas Swagger”

0

Paul Cauthen steps into a bold new chapter with his fifth album ‘Book Of Paul’. The outlaw country firebrand delivers a record packed with swagger, grit, and the booming Big Velvet voice that has defined his rise through the country underground.

The album is out now and finds Cauthen leaning fully into the sound that shaped him. Classic country grit collides with gospel soul and rock and roll attitude, creating a raw and unapologetic statement rooted in his East Texas identity.

Cauthen marked the project with the release of “Texas Swagger,” a bronc-bucking anthem driven by dark twang and undeniable attitude. The track was co-written with Rob Ragosta and Sam Martinez and arrives with a striking music video filmed at the BuckTown bull riding compound of rodeo legend JB Mauney.

“If you look at the Bible, there is no book of Paul,” Cauthen says. “I just wanted to write something that embodies me. I’m sick of hearing records catered to what’s hot and what’s working.”

Production on the album is shared by Ryan Tyndell, Steve Rusch, Sam Martinez, Fustin, and Nate Ferraro. Cauthen co-wrote 12 of the album’s 13 tracks and even steps behind the kit and bass on select recordings, giving the project a hands-on, deeply personal feel.

With a sound sitting somewhere between Waylon Jennings, Elvis Presley, and Jerry Lee Lewis, Cauthen continues to carve his own lane in modern country. ‘Book Of Paul’ stands as another fearless chapter from an artist who refuses to follow anyone else’s rules.

Cliffhanger keep their momentum rolling with the release of their new single “Pavement.” The Chicago pop-punk rockers deliver an emotionally charged track that digs into the quiet aftermath of a relationship falling apart.

Driven by dynamic vocals and steady melodic tension, “Pavement” balances reflection with forward motion. The song captures the heavy silence that follows heartbreak, when memories linger and closure feels out of reach.

“‘Pavement’ is about the moment when everything finally settles,” the group explains. “When the dust clears and you are left with the memories, the silence, and the understanding that some things do not get closure. It’s about learning how to walk forward anyway.”

The track arrives alongside a lyric video that reinforces the song’s emotional weight. Cliffhanger lean into the familiar pop-punk mix of honesty and urgency, pairing introspective storytelling with driving energy.

The band has built a strong presence in the Chicago scene through performances at Warped Tour, Subterranean, and Beat Kitchen. $kin Up steps into the ring with his new single “Fight Night.” The rising alt-pop upstart delivers a raw, high-energy track that kicks off his latest chapter with urgency and attitude.

Driven by gritty vocals and pounding production, “Fight Night” captures the moment when pressure, ambition, and determination collide. The track leans into adrenaline and confrontation, turning that tension into a bold statement about standing your ground when the spotlight hits.

$kin Up also directed the music video himself, giving the visual a direct connection to the song’s intensity. The clip mirrors the track’s emotional push and pull, blurring the line between confidence and conflict as the story unfolds.

“‘Fight Night’ is about the tension between wanting peace and being ready for whatever comes your way,” $kin Up explains. “It’s that moment where ambition, pressure, and emotion all collide. You don’t want the conflict, but you’re not backing down either.”

The single follows his earlier release “I Feel Ready,” a more introspective track that highlighted a softer side of his songwriting. With “Fight Night,” $kin Up shifts gears and delivers a defiant anthem fueled by hunger and resilience.
