Peter Frampton Adds New Dates to “Let’s Do It Again!” Tour

Today, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy Award-winning guitarist, Peter Frampton, unveils a slew of additional shows ahead of the “Let’s Do It Again!” tour set for this spring. The newly confirmed dates include Bend, Oregon’s Hayden Homes Amphitheater, Boise, Idaho’s Idaho Central Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada’s Pearl Theater and more.

Kicking off next month, the first leg of Frampton’s “Let’s Do It Again!” tour includes stops at Chicago’s Chicago Theatre, Milwaukee’s Riverside Theater, Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre and more.

Upon confirming the tour last month, Frampton shared, “I am so thrilled to be able to come out and play again for you, it’s been a spectacular year, looking forward to seeing everyone soon.”

The upcoming performances arrive on the heels of a landmark 2024 for the musician, who, in addition to being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, played concerts to rave reviews at venues across the U.S. Frampton’s “Never Say Never,” “Never EVER Say Never” and subsequent “Positively Thankful” tours were unexpected by fans after the legendary musician shared his diagnosis of the degenerative disease inclusion-body myositis.

Peter Frampton is one of the most celebrated artists and guitarists in rock history. In 2007, Frampton won a Grammy for Best Pop Instrumental Album for Fingerprints and in 2014 was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame. He received the prestigious Les Paul Innovation Award at NAMM’s TEC Awards in 2019 and most recently received the 2024 Les Paul Spirit Award at the Gibson Garage Nashville. Last fall, the iconic guitarist was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.

In 2020, Frampton was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, his autobiography, Do You Feel Like I Do?: A Memoir, debuted on The New York Times Bestsellers list and he appeared on Dolly Parton’s latest album, Rockstar, as the only artist featured on two tracks.

In 2023, Frampton unveiled Frampton@50 on Intervention Records, a numbered limited-edition vinyl box set featuring Frampton’s essential 1972-1975 studio releases Wind of Change, Frampton’s Camel and Frampton. He also received The Myositis Association’s Heroes in the Fight 2023 Patient Ambassador Award and unveiled his historic performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall as a live album via UMe—listen here.

From its inception in 1988, the team behind Rocky Mountain Folks Festival, Planet Bluegrass, has given the highest order of importance to creating a world for festivalgoers free of pomp and circumstance, high ticket fees and costly water bottles, and frankly, the hustle and bustle of modern, everyday life. They’ve curated a world so synonymous with good music, good company, and good adventure that their events historically sell out of tickets, sometimes before the lineups have even been released. And who buys those tickets? Festivarians, of course, dubbed so from a cheekily reinterpreted version of C.P. Cafavy’s poem, “Ithaka,” originally printed in a 1994 Planet Bluegrass brochure.

So, Festivarians, new and long-running, the time has come to return to the Planet Bluegrass Ranch in Lyons, Colorado, for the 35th annual Rocky Mountain Folks Festival, the exploration of song that joins us all, on August 8-10, 2025. For the uninitiated, picture a deeply red butte framing a permanent, natural wood-clad main stage; the ranch’s beating heart, built by and for Festivarians as the ultimate front-range pilgrimage destination. Feet are in the Saint Vrain River, bending its way from Rocky Mountain National Park down to join the South Platt, and a world-class folksinger, probably Steve Poltz, is on stage sharing in the energy of the crowd and its surroundings.

This year’s lineup is anchored by longtime favorites like Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Watchhouse, The Devil Makes Three, Lee Fields, and more, but Folks Fest isn’t just about historically great songs and songwriters. The team at Planet Bluegrass puts just as much effort into showcasing new, diverse musical acts as they do honoring the undisputed greats. There’s an old grain silo on the Planet Bluegrass Ranch inside which a young tree has grown taller year by year. That’s the ethos of Folks Fest. A sturdy shelter provides a home for new roots to grow and new branches to climb. The community reflects the same: Festivarian veterans showing first-timers the ropes, everyone from different places and backgrounds but together in the celebration of song. After all, there are a lot of folk festivals, but only one Folks Festival.

Bay will return to the road in North America for his much-anticipated “Up All Night” Tour this Spring. It marks his first full-scale U.S. headline run since 2023. This jaunt kicks off on April 21 at First Avenue in Minneapolis, MN, rolls through major markets coast-to-coast, and concludes on May 28 at MTELUS in Montreal, QC. Of course, the tour notably shares its moniker with his fan favorite 2024 single “Up All Night” with The Lumineers and Noah Kahan. The single catapulted to #1 on the Billboard Adult Alternative Airplay Chart as Bay’s first-ever radio #1 in the States.

GloRilla Announces The GLORIOUS Tour in Support of Her Acclaimed Debut Album

GRAMMY-nominated recording artist and CMG signee GloRilla announces The GLORIOUS Tour. Named after her acclaimed debut album, The GLORIOUS Tour will kick off March 2025 and arrive in markets including New York, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago and more. GloRilla’s artist pre-sale for her super fans, the GloRidaz, starts Thursday 10am local time. General on-sale tickets will be available for purchase Friday at 12pm local time.

This month, Glo made her highly anticipated debut on Saturday Night Live where she performed “Yeah Glo!” “LET HER COOK” and “WHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME.” Glo’s ascension into superstardom includes GLORIOUS (CMG/Interscope Records) debuting at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, securing the highest debut week for a female rapper and numerous Hot 100 wins including “Yeah Glo!,” “TGIF” and “Wanna Be” featuring Megan Thee Stallion and “WHATCHU KNOW ABOUT ME” featuring Sexyy Red.

Glo capped a sensational 2024 by dazzling on the covers of Rolling Stone and XXL in Nov. 2024 and Dec. 2024, respectively. GLORIOUS remained the talk of many year-end conversations for best albums, including mentions for Rolling Stone, NPR, etc. “TGIF” was crowned Time Magazine’s song of the year while “Yeah Glo!,” “Wanna Be (Remix)” and WHATCHU KNO BOUT ME also made New York Times’ Best Songs List.

Glo also landed two GRAMMY nominations for her double platinum single “Yeah Glo!” in the Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance categories, solidifying her stellar run this year. Most recently, she also earned the second Billboard Hot 100 top 10 song of her career as a feature on Tyler, The Creator’s “Sticky.”

Under the tutelage of CMG CEO Yo Gotti, Big Glo continues to be a force in hip-hop after the release of her debut album, GLORIOUS. The star-studded album includes features from Megan Thee Stallion, Latto, Sexyy Red, Kirk Franklin, Bossman Dlo, Fridayy, T-Pain, Muni Long, Kierra Sheard, Maverick City Music, and Chandler Moore.

She has earned recognition from Rihanna, who, after praising her for the hit “TGIF,” said she would want the Memphis superstar to make the official anthem for multi-million-dollar brand Fenty. Glo’s album also earned a vast cosign from music icon Taylor Swift, who played Glo’s newest anthem, ” WHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME,” on social media.

Canadian Live Music Association Announces Recipients of RBC-Sponsored Setting the Stage Program

To mark their 10th anniversary, the Canadian Live Music Association (CLMA) proudly launched Setting the Stage, a pilot program sponsored by RBC. This initiative provided micro-grants to independent live music venues, promoters, and festivals to empower live performances and foster mentorship for local, emerging artists.

They’re pleased to announce the recipients of this program and their selected emerging artists:

“We were thrilled by the nation-wide response to this RBC-sponsored pilot program”, said Erin Benjamin, President & CEO of the CLMA.“ and were very impressed by the calibre of the applications, the creative talent of the artists represented, and the impact of the proposed mentorship for each, and we hope to be able to provide this support again in the near future because both the need, and opportunity, are clear. We cannot thank RBC enough for their support of Canada’s live music community. Congratulations to the recipients, the artists, and a huge thank you to all of the mentors involved behind the scenes in your role in supporting Canada’s artists of the future.”

The program aims to address the market challenges that persist in some areas of the live music ecosystem, challenges that are directly impacting live music venues, and challenges emerging artists’ face as they try to grow their careers. All funded activities will take place by March 1st, 2025.
