Canada’s teen pop supergroup Girl Pow-R are hosting a fresh round of auditions, adding to their pack of talented, driven young girls who are set on changing the world through the power of positivity, empowerment, and song. Media is invited to attend to get a look inside what goes into creating one of the most popular girl groups in the country.
With lyrics like “passionate for some change” and “we won’t be pushed around, we are strong, we are proud,” the all-girl tour de force recently released their debut album This Is Us. Their premiere single “Never Let Go” debuted on the iTunes Canada Children’s chart at #2, and #15 in the U.S. They have been featured on Breakfast Television, CP24, SiriusXM, YTV, TVO Kids, CityTV, eTalk Canada, Girls’ Life, Tiger Beat, J-14, Celeb Secrets, Fresh 95.3, and more.
The band is hot off an intensive summer tour — including stops in Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York, and Boston — having completed 55+ shows since the beginning of the year. Their music videos and social outreach campaigns have already inspired 1,001,646 tweens, teens, and young women around the world, and counting.
Girl Pow-R are seeking singers ages 10-13 and 14-17, and musicians 10-21, to join their burgeoning cohort of artists to tour live and record in-studio.
Auditions will be held on Saturday, September 14th, and 21st from 4 to 10pm, and hosted by Canyon Entertainment Group at their Mississauga location — 3025 Lenworth Drive, Suite #5 on the second floor. For more information on how to prepare for the audition, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
