Japanese metalcore powerhouse Crystal Lake is proud to share their dark and visceral new single, “Neversleep,” a crushing track featuring Myke Terry of Volumes and Fire From The Gods on vocals. The song offers one of the heavier, deathcore-tinged pieces from their highly anticipated seventh studio album, ‘The Weight of Sound,’ set for release on January 23rd, 2026, via Century Media Records. Guitarist and founder YD poured elements of hardcore, metal, and punk into the song, stating that the whole track is built for the listener to dance and enjoy. The upcoming full-length promises to be one of the band’s most ambitious projects yet, featuring a diverse and impressive lineup of guest artists including Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage and Karl Schubach of Misery Signals. Crystal Lake will be hitting the road in early spring 2026 for a massive co-headline tour across Europe and the UK with American metalcore band Miss May I.
