SiriusXM Leads the Nominations for First-Ever Golden Globe Best Podcast Award

SiriusXM today announced that it leads the nominations for inaugural Best Podcast category at the 83rd Annual Golden Globes, with three of the six nominees—“Call Her Daddy,” “SmartLess,” and “The Mel Robbins Podcast”—all part of the SiriusXM Podcast Network. This marks the first time a major awards show has formally recognized podcasting, and SiriusXM’s dominant presence among the nominees underscores the company’s role at the forefront of the industry.

“As home to half of the nominees in this category, SiriusXM further solidifies its position as the leader in podcasting and reinforces our role in shaping the future of audio,” said Scott Greenstein, President and Chief Content Officer at SiriusXM. “We couldn’t be prouder of our nominees for the first-ever Golden Globe Award for Best Podcast. The exceptional work behind ‘Call Her Daddy,’ ‘SmartLess,’ and ‘The Mel Robbins Podcast’ continues to resonate with their massive audiences, and it’s gratifying to see that impact recognized on one of entertainment’s biggest stages.”

Named the #1 podcast network by reac* and recognized as Apple Podcasts’ top channel for 2025, the SiriusXM Podcast Network—whose diverse portfolio spans comedy, true crime, wellness, business, and entertainment—represents more of the top 20 podcasts than any other network and reaches 1 in 2 U.S. podcast listeners each month.

“Call Her Daddy” is a worldwide hit and cultural force, known for its raw, empowering conversations and consistently ranking among the most-listened-to podcasts globally. Hosted by Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, and Sean Hayes, the award-winning “SmartLess” consistently ranks among the top five podcasts, offering revealing and often comedic conversations with some of the most notable guests in entertainment, culture, and beyond.

“The Mel Robbins Podcast” has rapidly become one of the most-followed and most-streamed podcasts, fueled by host Mel Robbins’ candid storytelling and actionable, research-driven insights. The show continues to resonate with millions seeking practical advice and inspiration for navigating everyday life.
