Wave to Earth are operating at a different scale now. The South Korean indie rock trio has confirmed “The Pieces Tour,” a massive global run promoted by Live Nation, covering 21 cities across North America before moving through Asia in November. A new album is also on the way this summer.
The North American leg opens September 4th in Vancouver and works through Chicago, Boston, Minneapolis, Seattle, San Francisco, Atlanta, and Austin, with marquee stops at Radio City Music Hall in New York City and the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. The Asia leg picks up November 12th in Bangkok, hitting Manila, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Osaka, and Tokyo.
New single “Heaven and Hell” is the first music from the band since their 2024 EP ‘play with Earth! 0.03,’ which debuted at No. 5 on Spotify’s Top Albums Debut Global Chart and sent them out on a fully sold-out North American run. The new track signals what’s coming, and the album details will follow this summer.
The numbers behind Wave to Earth tell the story of a band that built something real. Over 7 million monthly listeners on Spotify, more than 500 million streams of “Seasons,” and hundreds of shows worldwide including Lollapalooza dates in Chicago, Chile, and India. The trio of Daniel Kim, John Cha, and Dong Q have been methodical about it since debuting in 2019.
Their catalog runs from ‘Wave 0.01’ and ‘Summer Flows 0.02’ in 2020 through their 2023 full-length debut ‘0.1 Flaws and All,’ which produced breakout single “Bad,” a No. 1 on Spotify’s Viral 50 Global Chart. Every release has expanded their reach, and “The Pieces Tour” reflects just how far that reach now extends.
Presale registration opens today, May 20th, with the general sale going live Thursday, May 21st at 10 am local time.
