The vampires are leaving New York for the open road. Broadway’s ‘The Lost Boys’ has announced a North American tour launching in spring 2028, carrying the acclaimed production beyond its Palace Theatre home.
Cleveland kicks things off at Playhouse Square, with specific dates and additional cities to be announced later. Producers James Carpinello, Marcus Chait, and Patrick Wilson said in a joint statement they’re thrilled to launch in Cleveland, bringing the artistry, breathtaking flying sequences, and heartfelt family story that captivated Broadway audiences to cities across the country.
The show arrives with serious heat behind it. ‘The Lost Boys’ officially launched on Broadway April 26 at the Palace Theatre and has since picked up 12 Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical. It features a book by David Hornsby and Chris Hoch, with music led by The Rescues, a creative package that’s clearly connected with audiences.
The story stays true to its cult-favorite roots. ‘The Lost Boys’ is a coming-of-age comedy about brothers Michael and Sam, who move to a California town with their single mother and end up tangled with a crew of teenage vampires and the hunters chasing them.
