St. Paul’s doom/death metal juggernaut Red Vinter return with their brutal new music video “Still Beating,” taken from their debut album ‘Lumbering Menace.’ The clip delivers a visceral fusion of crushing riffs, haunting imagery, and raw emotion that defines the band’s heavy, uncompromising sound. “’Still Beating’ is one of the most visceral tracks we’ve ever recorded — it’s about survival when everything around you says give up,” says bassist and vocalist Mike Bullock. “The visuals hit just as hard as the song itself.”
With their next album ‘Kill The Sun’ already in progress, Red Vinter are gearing up for an unstoppable run. Their fall schedule includes a September gig with Northern Hammer at Mankato’s Kato Ballroom, an October support slot for VolsungaSaga’s record release show, and a spring return to Minnesota’s premier doom and sludge event, Sinkfest II. Featuring Mike Bullock, J LeBrasseur, Dylan Jones, and James Achilles, Red Vinter are proving that the heart of doom metal in the Midwest is very much “Still Beating.”
