At just 22, Iraqi-born Canadian artist Ebril (Huda Al-Hamani) is lighting up the global music scene with her captivating debut album In Copula. A mesmerizing blend of folk, lo-fi, and shoegaze, the self-produced record carries listeners from dawn to dusk with its organic soundscapes and deeply personal storytelling. Every element — from writing to mastering — was crafted by Ebril herself, weaving in field recordings from nature and street markets in her former hometown in Jordan.
