Argentinian duo Pacifica — formed by Inés Adam and Martina Nintzel — return with their explosive sophomore album In Your Face, out now via TAG / The Orchard. Fusing the raw spirit of early-2000s garage rock with post-punk swagger and ‘90s alt-rock emotion, the Buenos Aires-born pair channel friendship, chaos, and catharsis in a collection that’s as self-aware as it is rebellious. “In Your Face is an introspective journey that brushes through themes of heartbreak, betrayal, lust, spite, immaturity, and regret — all with a pinch of humor and light-heartedness,” the band shares. The album’s lead track, “Indie Boyz,” is a tongue-in-cheek ode to indie sleaze nightlife, paying tribute to the hazy dance floors of LA’s Tenants of the Trees.
Other highlights include “Fixer Upper,” a biting take on toxic relationships, “Just No Fun,” a chaotic anthem about self-sabotage, and “What You Doing,” a sardonic emotional spiral wrapped in gritty guitars. Following the success of their debut Freak Scene and its acoustic follow-up Freak Scene: NAK Sessions, Pacifica have built a devoted global audience, racking up over 25 million streams and playing sold-out shows across continents alongside Franz Ferdinand, St. Vincent, Kim Gordon, and Måneskin. Their new album arrives ahead of two Buenos Aires headline dates and a sold-out double night in Tokyo, before kicking off a full UK/EU tour and festival circuit in 2026.
