VRSTY is celebrating the five year anniversary of their original ‘Cloud City’ EP with a fantastic twist: the release of the four song ‘Cloud City (Archives)’ EP, set to drop on December 12. This new collection features beautiful acoustic renditions of three classic tracks, “Dig,” “Pathos,” and “Shameless,” giving these beloved songs a fresh and reimagined flavor. The EP also features an acoustic version of “YOU & I,” a track written during that same period in the band’s history. Today, the band shared “Shameless” (Acoustic), and singer Joey Tyler explains the inspiration, saying “I’ve always loved the kinda ‘heavy softness that ‘Shameless’ had and always thought it would be cool to explore that more. I think I went into it with that mentality at first but then also just wanted to do this as a thank you for everyone who has supported ‘Shameless’ and Cloud City for so many years. After all, that song was the very FIRST time anyone ever listened to us and gave us a chance.” This is a wonderful thank you to fans who have supported the project since its 2020 release via Spinefarm.
