The Norwegian and Swedish collective Kalandra reaches a significant milestone in 2026 as the group marks fifteen years of musical evolution. To celebrate this anniversary, the band released the live single and video “Segla” which captures the raw energy of their sold-out performance at the Lafayette in London. This specific version of the track transforms the original studio intimacy into a powerful and immersive stage experience. The performance serves as a centerpiece for their first ever live album titled ‘Live In London’ which documents their extensive journey through Nordic soundscapes.
The group originated in 2011 while Katrine Stenbekk studied in Liverpool and the lineup solidified shortly after with Jogeir Daae Mæland, Florian Döderlein Winter, and Oskar Rydh. Their history includes notable releases like the EP ‘Beneath the Breaking Waves’ and the successful debut album ‘The Line’ which helped build their international reputation. The band performs at Rockefeller in Oslo on February 18 for their largest Norwegian headline show featuring special guests and a career-spanning setlist. This high-energy live recording of “Segla” sounds absolutely massive and proves exactly why this band commands such respect on the global stage.
