Charlottetown punks TeethOut release a new track and announce their signing to High End Denim Records. The five-piece skate-punk band from Charlottetown, PEI tries to play like they’re still 20 and mostly gets away with it. Fueled by 90s punk nostalgia, cheap coffee, and louder-than-necessary singalongs, their sound is fast, melodic, and just the right amount of chaotic. After their debut EP ‘Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is’ and the follow-up ‘Brittle But Elite’, which hit number one on community radio’s alternative charts, TeethOut returns with “Here We Go”. With a handful of Maritime tours and too many late-night pizza shop stops under their belts, they’re proving that growing older doesn’t mean slowing down.
Regarding “Here We Go”, vocalist Josh Lavigne says, “We wanted to write something instantly catchy that people could sing along to after one listen. ‘Here We Go’ came together fast, built around a simple hook and that high-energy pop punk feel we grew up on. It’s one of those songs that sticks with you for days.” The track showcases the band’s ability to deliver the melodic punch and infectious energy that defined their earlier releases while pushing forward with their signature chaotic charm.
