Paula Cole Announces 30th Anniversary Tour Celebrating ‘This Fire’ Album In Fall 2026

Paula Cole announces a 30th anniversary tour celebrating her second full-length album ‘This Fire’ in fall 2026. The milestone release peaked at number 20 on the Billboard 200 and established Cole’s breakout in 1996. “30 YEARS AGO ‘This Fire’ came into the world and changed my life. So I’m hitting the road with my amazing band THIS FALL 2026 to celebrate this pivotal album,” Cole wrote on social media Tuesday. “Let’s share the stories, the songs, and this fire that still burns.” The tour launches September 17 at Webster Hall in New York City and runs through October 10 in Spokane, Washington at Knitting Factory, with stops in Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Portland, and additional cities.

‘This Fire’ produced three official singles, including two classic hits from the era. “Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?” peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100, while “I Don’t Want to Wait” reached number 11 and was later used as the theme song for the television series Dawson’s Creek. The album remains a defining moment in Cole’s career and established her as a prominent voice in the singer-songwriter landscape of the late 1990s.
