I See Orange Bring 90s Influenced Sound To U.S. Festivals

UK post grunge rock band I See Orange are bringing their gritty 90s inspired sound to North America as they make their US live debut at New York City’s New Colossus Festival before heading to South by Southwest in Austin. Led by vocalist and bassist Giselle Medina alongside guitarist Cameron Hill and drummer Charlie Hart, the trio blends heavy rock dynamics with melodic hooks across singles including “Mental Rot”, “La Bruja”, and “Doll Guts”.

The band will perform three New York shows during the New Colossus Festival, including March 5 and March 8 at Pianos and a March 7 performance at Bakers Falls with The Spanish Wave. For Medina, the trip marks a major milestone as the group performs on US soil for the first time while exploring New York City and sharing their music with a new audience.

I See Orange have been building momentum with their modern take on the early 90s alternative and grunge sound. Their single “Mental Rot” received support from KEXP and BBC radio while its video surpassed 340,000 views on YouTube. Their follow up single “Doll Guts” channels riot grrrl influences and became the first release by a non Japanese artist on London based label JPU Records.

Following their New York shows, the band heads to Austin for three South by Southwest performances before traveling to Los Angeles to record with producer Phillip Broussard Jr. at SteakHouse Studio. With new music on the way and growing international attention, I See Orange are positioning themselves for a breakout year in 2026.
