NYC industrial alt-rock duo Heavy Halo head west this month, joining My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult for the band’s “Delicate Terror Tour.” The run launches March 25 in San Francisco and closes April 18 in Los Angeles, bringing Heavy Halo’s dark electronic pulse and guitar-driven intensity to western audiences for the first time.
The tour pairs the rising duo with one of industrial music’s defining acts. My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult emerged from Chicago’s Wax Trax! Records scene in the 1980s, developing a style that fused industrial edge with house rhythms, funk grooves, and B-movie theatrics. Their legacy includes tours with Marilyn Manson and Siouxsie and the Banshees and a memorable appearance in the film The Crow.
For Heavy Halo members McKeever and Gosteffects, the connection runs deep. “My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult was the very first concert I went to,” says Gosteffects. “It inspired me to set out on a lifelong artistic journey.” McKeever adds, “The film, The Crow, which featured My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult in an unforgettable performance scene, imprinted TKK’s stamp on my psyche, becoming key sonic and visual influences for Heavy Halo.”
