Yamaha Unveils MGX Digital Mixers, URX Audio Interfaces And CC1 Controller For Modern Creators

Yamaha is expanding its professional audio lineup with a powerful new suite of tools designed for musicians, streamers, podcasters, and content creators. The company has officially launched the MGX Series digital mixers, URX Series audio interfaces, and the CC1 USB controller, delivering studio-quality sound and streamlined control for modern creative workflows.

The new lineup blends Yamaha’s long-standing reputation for professional audio performance with digital capabilities aimed at today’s hybrid production environments. From live performances to streaming studios, the system is designed to provide flexibility, intuitive control, and seamless integration across platforms.

The MGX Series builds on the legacy of Yamaha’s widely used MG mixers. The updated consoles feature advanced digital processing, support for 32-bit/96 kHz audio, and multi-channel streaming capabilities. Select models also include HDMI-USB video and audio interface functionality, allowing creators to combine audio and video workflows more efficiently.

Available models include the MGX16 B/W, MGX12 B/W, MGX16V B/W, and MGX12V B/W, all offered in both black and white finishes.

Complementing the mixers is the URX Series of professional audio interfaces. Designed for creators who demand high-quality recording and streaming, the interfaces support 32-bit/192 kHz audio resolution and ultra-low noise performance. The URX44V model also integrates HDMI-USB video/audio capabilities, making it a central hub for hybrid production setups.

The URX lineup includes the URX44 B/W, URX22 B/W, and URX44V B/W models.

Rounding out the ecosystem is the CC1 USB controller, which offers precise workflow control with a 100 mm motorized touch-sensitive fader and 12 customizable LCD keys compatible with Elgato’s Stream Deck software. The controller integrates with major digital audio workstations including Cubase, Nuendo, and Pro Tools, as well as streaming software like OBS Studio.

Yamaha executives say the goal is not simply to add digital features but to enhance the creative process.

“We’re focused on what truly helps engineers, musicians, and creators deliver great performances,” said Preston Gray, Yamaha’s director of marketing for professional audio.

The new lineup will be showcased during the NAMM Show in Anaheim, California from January 22–24, where attendees can experience hands-on demonstrations of the products.

Pricing begins at $799.99 for MGX mixers, $399.99 for URX audio interfaces, and $399.99 for the CC1 controller. All products are available now through authorized Yamaha dealers worldwide.
