Thomas Rhett Scores His 25th #1 Single in Just Under 15 Years

Thomas Rhett just hit a number that very few artists in any genre ever reach. “Ain’t A Bad Life” featuring Jordan Davis has topped the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart, giving the Diamond-certified superstar his 25th career #1 single, all within 14 years of releasing his first. That’s not a hot streak. That’s an institution.

The single, co-written by Rhett alongside Ashley Gorley, Blake Pendergrass, John Byron, and Mark Trussell, brings a bright acoustic energy to an already strong album cycle. It’s the third #1 from ‘About A Woman (Deluxe),’ joining “Beautiful As You” and “After All The Bars Are Closed” at the top spot. Three #1s from a single project is a statement. The 25-track album also features collaborations with Lanie Gardner, Blake Shelton, Teddy Swims, and Tucker Wetmore.

“Hitting 25 #1s is something I never could’ve dreamed up,” said Rhett. “Getting to share it with my buddy Jordan Davis made it even more special. I’m really grateful to the fans, country radio, and everyone who’s been on this ride with me.”

Rhett’s momentum extends well beyond the chart. He’s heading out this summer on the Soundtrack to Life Tour, a 20-plus city run that includes two stadium dates in July with Niall Horan at GEODIS Park and Hersheypark Stadium. He’s also appearing on Morgan Wallen’s Still The Problem Tour and joining Luke Combs for a three-night run at Wembley Stadium in the U.K. He recently teamed with Marshmello on new single “Where We Go” and contributed a fresh version of “Georgia On My Mind” to ESPN’s official 2026 Masters Tournament campaign.

With more than 16 billion streams, eight ACM Awards including Entertainer of the Year, and five CMA Triple Play Awards, Thomas Rhett has built one of the most consistent careers in modern country music. #25 lands like he’s just getting warmed up.
