Who needs banjos when you’ve got handbells? The Clifton Hand-Bell Ringers’ senior team took the famous “Dueling Banjos” and reimagined it for their bells, performing it at the Slaithwaite Christmas Festival in December 2022. The back-and-forth call-and-response that makes the original so thrilling translates beautifully here, each phrase volleyed between ringers with precision and a grin, proving that a tune built for fingers and strings can absolutely fly in the hands of a skilled bell team.
