NF Announces North American ‘Hope Tour’

0

Today, Michigan rapper and producer NF  announces his HOPE TOUR. The massive 47 show runs across the US, Canada, Europe, and UKin support of his forthcoming studio album, HOPE, releasing April 7. Produced by Live Nation, the North American leg of the tour will feature special guest Cordae and kick off on Wednesday, July 12th at Schottenstein Center in Columbus making stops across the U.S. in Philadelphia, Anaheim, Denver, and more before wrapping up in Laval at Place Bell on Sunday, September 3rd. The 16-date European leg kicks off on September 23rd at the Fabrique in Milan making stops in Switzerland, Belgium, Ireland, and more before wrapping up in London at Eventim Apollo on October 15th.

Last month NF returned with the stirring new single “HOPE” (NF Real Music/Virgin Music). The song finds the multi-Platinum hitmaker at his most raw and unfiltered as he assesses his musical journey thus far and looks to the future. Hope is accompanied by a suitably uplifting visual, which captures the MC’s defiance and authenticity. Watch it HERE.

Next up is NF’s facetious “MOTTO”, of which The New York Times says, “in his early career, NF sounded as if he was internalizing all the pressures of the world, but now he sounds free and calm, dismissing those same pressures with a shrug.”

HOPE  is the fifth studio album from the Billboard chart-topping, multi-platinum artist. Known for rapping quick-witted lyrics over hip hop beats and cinematic production, NF has built an obsessively loyal fanbase that has earned him over 30 billion global streams and established NF as one of the most consumed artists today. NF’s  HOPE  is a 13-track album boasting instant hits, such as “HAPPY”, “MOTTO” and notable Grammy-nominated features with singer/songwriter Julia Michaels on “GONE,” and rapper Cordae on “CAREFUL”.

Paul McCartney Photography Exhibition To Open In London In June, 2023

0

An unprecedented exhibition, revealing – for the first time – extraordinary photographs taken by Paul McCartney.

In this show, we focus on portraits captured by McCartney, using his own camera, between December 1963 and February 1964 – a time when The Beatles were transitioning from a British sensation to a global phenomenon. These never-before-seen images offer a uniquely personal perspective on what it was like to be a ‘Beatle’ at the start of ‘Beatlemania’ – and adjusting from playing gigs on Liverpool stages, to performing to 73 million Americans on The Ed Sullivan Show. At a time when so many camera lenses were on the band, it is Paul McCartney’s which tells the truest story of a band creating cultural history – in one of its most exciting chapters.

Rina Sawayama Announces ‘Hold The Girl: Reloaded’ Tour Across North America

0

Rina Sawayama, who made her film debut as the lead female role in John Wick: Chapter 4 over the weekend, is back to announce a new string of tour dates in North America. The Hold The Girl: Reloaded tour includes festival stops at Governor’s Ball, Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza and follows the John Wick: Chapter 4 LA, NY and UK premieres as well as her appearance on Good Morning America and her couch conversation with Jimmy Fallon leading up to the release of the film. The film broke box office records for the franchise and hit #1 at domestic box office. The Wrap praised that Rina’s character Akira, “gets some of the best choreography of the film, letting arrows fly as she launches herself from villain to villain in her Katniss Everdeen-meets-dominatrix best.” Mashable noted, “Rina Sawayama exudes ruthless amounts of cool,” with The Hollywood Reporter adding that Rina, “will undoubtedly be seen in future editions.” Rina’s vocals are also featured in the end credits of the film on the track “Eye For An Eye.”

The tour follows the release of her latest album, Hold The Girl, a sold-out UK and Ireland run, which included a performance at O2 Brixton, and a 13-show run in the United States at the end of last year, playing two nights at the Great Hall at Avant Gardner in New York City and two nights at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. The artist’s pre-sale will commence at 10am local time this Wednesday, March 29th and general on-sale will begin at 10am local time this Friday, March 31st at rina.online.com.

Her new album Hold The Girl see’s Rina once again juxtapose intimate storytelling with arena-sized songs creating another ambitious and original album to excite fans and critics alike. Written and recorded over the last year and a half, Rina teamed up with long-term collaborators Clarence Clarity and Lauren Aquilina as well as enlisting help from the likes of the legendary Paul Epworth (Adele, Florence & the Machine), Stuart Price (Dua Lipa, The Killers, Madonna) and Marcus Andersson (Demi Lovato, Ashnikko) for their magic touch. The product of Rina and these collective minds coming together is an album that melds influences from across the pop spectrum and is a bold and honest statement of Rina’s personal evolution; coming to terms with her own past and the jubilation of turning to the future.

ODESZA also recently attended the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards in support of their nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album for ‘The Last Goodbye’ (released via Foreign Family Collective/Ninja Tune) and released their new single “To Be Yours (feat. Claud)” which Billboard said “perfectly tows the line between each of the artists’ respective worlds, employing the crystal clear production work of the sought-after dance pair as well as the confessional songwriting of the fast-rising bedroom pop singer into one gloriously fun single.”
