Wave to Earth are heading around the world. The South Korean indie rock band has announced a global run, The Pieces Tour, tied to a new album on the way. The trek kicks off September 4 in Vancouver at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre and rolls through Seattle, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Denver, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, New York, Atlanta, and Houston before wrapping the North American leg October 11 in Irving, TX at the Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory.
From there the band keeps going. The Asia leg picks up in November with confirmed stops in Bangkok, Manila, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Osaka, and Tokyo.
The announcement follows new single “heaven and hell,” which arrived ahead of the album tied to the tour. It’s a gorgeous taste of what’s coming from one of indie’s most atmospheric young bands.
Fans can register for a seated presale beginning Wednesday, May 20 at 10 am local time, with the general on-sale following Thursday, May 21 at 10 am local time via livenation.com.
