Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford will release his autobiography ‘Confess‘ in the fall of 2020. Headline Publishing Group/Hachette Book Group will be publishing the book on October 20,

Known as ‘The Metal God’ by his devoted, global fan base, Rob Halford has always subverted the norm, and Confess will offer readers a compelling and honest look at the struggles he has faced with addiction and his sexuality as well as exploring his music and his many brushes with controversy.

There have been few vocalists in the history of heavy metal whose singing style has been as influential and instantly recognizable as Halford’s. Confess, published to coincide with the 50th anniversary of Judas Priest – and described by Halford himself as ‘exciting, fun, disturbing and terrifying’ – will celebrate five decades of the guts and glory of rock-n-roll.

Written with Ian Gittins, co-writer of the New York Times bestseller, The Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx, this autobiography will celebrate the guts and glory of rock-n-roll from the late eighties up to the staggering 50th anniversary of Judas Priest in 2020, and is sure to be a bestseller across the globe.’

Rob says, “‘Confess‘ is a unique once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me to expose every facet of myself. Digging deep with nothing to hide and nothing to fear was in many ways exciting, fun, disturbing, terrifying and cathartic. I’ve held nothing back. It’s time for me to Confess…”

David Gray Announces “White Ladder: The 20th Anniversary Tour”

Multi-platinum and Grammy-nominated, British singer-songwriter David Gray has announced plans for a 2020 North American tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his seminal album, White Ladder. The “WHITE LADDER: THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR” produced by Live Nation will kick off on July 13th at Artpark Amphitheater in Lewiston, NY. The North American tour announcement follows on the heels of Gray’s upcoming UK, Ireland and EU tour. He recently added his third 3Arena show in Dublin and is on pace to sell out the tour in these countries overall. David will be performing the multi-Platinum album, White Ladder, in its entirety as well as greatest hits. This will be a once-in-lifetime tour that fans won’t want to miss.

In conjunction with the tour, David Gray has announced the February 14th release of the White Ladder: The 20th Anniversary deluxe edition, to celebrate the trailblazing album’s 20-year anniversary. The global multi-platinum selling album, and one of the greatest, most heart-warming word-of-mouth successes in music, will be released on 2xCD, 4xLP, and digital formats. This will include a special remastered edition of the iconic album plus White Ladder era previously unreleased rarities, B-sides and demos.

Says David Gray, “What happened with White Ladder involved more than music. It was a sort of heart and soul moment of total surrender for everybody involved, for me and the audience. That was it. It doesn’t get any better than that.”

Upon its 20th anniversary, it’s interesting to consider the extraordinary aftermath of White Ladder. Its success spawned a new wave of singer-songwriters in an acoustic boom that resonates to this day, a soul-baring lineage that can be directly traced from David Gray to the all-conquering Ed Sheeran. Indeed, Ed is a fan, known to cover ‘This Year’s Love’ live. Fellow world beating British superstar Adele is also an admirer, citing ‘This Year’s Love’ as one of her all-time favorite break-up songs.

Following his arena tour in the UK and EU set for early 2020, multi-platinum recording artist James Arthur will embark on his North American ‘The YOU Tour’ with over 25 new shows throughout April and May of 2020. Live Nation is the official promoter of the tour, and singer/songwriter Delacey will support on all dates.

Fans can keep an eye on James’ social media channels for information on pre-sale tickets, which will become available starting Tuesday, October 22nd at 10am local time. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, October 25th at 10am local time at LiveNation.com and via James’ official website.

James first introduced ‘The YOU Tour’ with a special, limited run of 6 headline shows in September 2019, which all sold out in a matter of minutes. He has also previously toured in the U.S. as an opener for One Republic and Fitz & the Tantrums in 2017.

James has just unveiled his latest full-length album YOU to the world on Friday, October 18 via Columbia Records. The album makes a spectacular statement of intent from one of pop’s most versatile performers. YOU features the retro hip hop of the single “Treehouse” (featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Shotty Horroh), the stately, strings-accompanied track “Quite Miss Home,” the hymnal folk track “Fall,” the soul-rock belter “From Me To You,” the jazzy “Breathe,” and the furious title track “You” which features Travis Barker.

The last few years have been remarkable for James. He was recently awarded a disc for reaching a billion streams on Spotify and a billion views on YouTube with his No.1 global hit “Say You Won’t Let Go.” Only 18 records have achieved a billion streams on Spotify in history, and James is one of 10 artists globally to do this including Drake, Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber.
