Latin Rock Icons Maná Confirm North American Dates For ‘Rayando El Sol Tour’

Last night the biggest rock band in Spanish, Maná, surprised fans by announcing their return to the road on Premio Lo Nuestro. Today “the most widely sold and heard Latin band in the world” (Billboard) confirmed details of their headlining ‘Rayando El Sol Tour’ across the United States. The tour is named after their critically acclaimed single, “Rayando El Sol,” which  was one of the band’s first great successes and the kick off to a remarkable career including 4 Grammy Awards, 8 Latin Grammy Awards, 19 Billboard Latin Music Awards and dozens more around the world.

Produced by Live Nation, the tour will make over 20 stops across the U.S., kicking off September 4th in Corpus Christi, TXwith visits to Houston, San Diego, Brooklyn and more, before wrapping November 27th in Sacramento, CA. The U.S. outing will also include an astonishing 4 nights at The Forum in Los Angeles, CA between September and November, making history as the largest run of dates at The Forum for any Latin act in history. In 2018, the legendary Steve Miller Band’s Complete Albums Volume 1 (1968-1976) debuted as an unprecedented and acclaimed 9LP vinyl box set, individual 180-gram black vinyl LPs and color vinyl LPs, and HD digital audio. Today, Steve Miller and Capitol/UMe are incredibly excited to announce plans for the May 24 global release of the collection’s second volume, presenting nine more Steve Miller Band studio albums in a new 180-gram vinyl box set called Complete Albums Volume 2 (1977-2011). Spanning the band’s multi-platinum 10thstudio album, 1977’s Book of Dreams, through 2011’s Let Your Hair Down, the albums have all been remastered and are available now for preorder. The Marley Family, Island Records, and UMe are celebrating the rich legacy of reggae legend Bob Marley with a new music short inspired by the music of Bob Marley and that exemplifies the joy of his beloved birthplace, Jamaica. Steve has been involved in the music industry for decades and throughout his many roles, he has impacted, developed, and guided the careers of many artists and industry leaders.
Steve joined Live Nation in 2009 as President of Artist Service and soon after joined the company’s Touring team as Senior Vice President, where he is now one of company’s leading tour promoters. Steve has promoted some of the world’s top artists, including: Prince, Dixie Chicks, Backstreet Boys, Black Sabbath, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, Bryan Adams, Yusuf (formerly known as Cat Stevens), David Blaine, Nickelback, OneRepublic, and The Smashing Pumpkins to name a few.
