Clipse Share Emotional Visual for “The Birds Don’t Sing” From ‘Let God Sort Em Out’

0

Some music videos are about style, some are about hype, and then there are the ones that hit you right in the heart. Clipse has just released “The Birds Don’t Sing,” their third video from ‘Let God Sort Em Out,’ and it’s the kind of raw, personal storytelling that reminds you why music matters—shot at the Thornton family home in Virginia Beach, filled with childhood memories, and rooted in love, loss, and legacy.

Directed by Brendan O’Connor, the deeply personal visual features scenes shot at the Thornton brothers’ family home in Virginia Beach, VA. A pastiche of imagery from their childhood, including home movies and family photos, interspersed with an emotional performance set in the family living room, the clip opens with Pusha’s son Nigel placing flowers at the grave of his grandparents. “The Birds Don’t Sing” was written as an homage to Pusha T and Malice’s parents, who passed away within a year of one another. Trading verses between a soaring chorus from John Legend and Voices Of Fire, Pusha T raps directly to their mother, Malice to their father, both sharing messages of love and grief they never got the chance to say.

Earlier this month, the rappers made history at Pharrell Williams’ Grace For The World concert in St. Peter’s Square, becoming the first rap artists to perform at The Vatican with their epic performance of “The Birds Don’t Sing” with John Legend. Clipse joined Legend again this week, with a surprise guest performance of the song at his sold-out show at The Hollywood Bowl.

Executive produced by Pharrell Williams, Let God Sort Em Out features guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Tyler the Creator, Nas, John Legend, The-Dream, Ab-Liva, Stove God Cooks and more. The project debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart via Roc Nation Distribution, marking a significant milestone for Pusha T and Malice’s first fully independent album release and first full-length album in 16 years.

Emei Shares “Talk Talk Talk” for ‘All Things Go: 10 Years’ Charity Compilation Benefitting The Ally Coalition

0

The forthcoming charity compilation All Things Go: 10 Years, with all proceeds benefitting The Ally Coalition, reveals its sixth track: “Talk Talk Talk” by Emei, including production by Timfromthehouse, written by Emily Li, Tim Nelson and Gigi Grombarcher.

“I’m so happy I get the chance to release ‘Talk Talk Talk’ on the All Things Go anniversary album,” Emei shares. “I’m honored to be among such incredible artists and to be able to contribute at all to The Ally Coalition. I haven’t released a single since February and a lot has happened since then. I’ve gone on tour. I’ve lost loved ones. I’ve lost friends. I’ve gone through grief and depression and back. This year has been a huge year of growth and music making. I’m working on an entirely new project and era but before I can let everyone fully into that world, I wanted to release this diss track of mine that touches briefly upon all the BS I’ve gone through this year. Sometimes you don’t have control over what someone says about you behind your back. And man oh man is Los Angeles filled with people who love to “Talk Talk Talk”. This song is a diss track yes, but also a manifestation of a sort that’s telling me that I can always brush the BS thrown my way off my shoulders. People will always have something to say and you can’t control everyone’s narratives so just let them “Talk Talk Talk” while I keep my head down and continue working hard for me but also for my fans. I hope everyone treats the song as the emotional outlet as it was for me! And get excited and ready for this next chapter!!”

All Things Go is celebrating over a decade of festivals, originating in the Washington, D.C. area before expanding to New York in 2024, and will host its inaugural Toronto 2025 edition this October. Reneé Rapp, Kacey Musgraves, Remi Wolf, and Role Model will headline Toronto 2025 on October 4-5.

The full compilation will be released on November 7th and includes ATG artists past and present, including Kesha, Maren Morris, Rachel Chinouriri, Medium Build, Bartees Strange, Maude Latour, Joy Oladokun, Jasmine 4.t and more. Celebrating over ten years of All Things Go, it will be available digitally and on limited edition vinyl and CD.

Jamey Johnson to Join Nashville Symphony for ‘Symphony in the South’ at Schermerhorn Symphony Center October 17–18

0

Jamey Johnson will join the Nashville Symphony on October 17-18 for its first collaboration as part of the Nashville Symphony’s 2025-2026 Pops Series at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

“The Schermerhorn shows are really a full circle moment for me,” Johnson says. “I started my journey in music with both a guitar and a French horn, so I have always played country music, gospel and classical. The Schermerhorn shows are my reconnection with the symphony, and it’s going to be special. It’s going to show a different side of the songs I do every night.”

Johnson selected the theme Symphony in the South, so the set list will include some of his most-loved songs, such as “In Color,” “Lead Me Home,” and “Even the Skies Are Blue,” as well as some of his favorite country classics and other standards.

“There will be a really good mix of songs, just like most of my shows,” he says. “I am doing songs that match the theme of Symphony in the South. There is a definite Southern theme to the songs. It’s kind of like a photo album with music: This is what the South sounds like. These are the songs of the South done with symphonic instruments.”

The Schermerhorn shows mark the national debut of Johnson’s Symphony in the South shows that he will perform with various symphonies. “This will be a way of bringing a little bit of the South to everywhere else in the country,” he says.

The Grand Ole Opry member is also widely regarded as one of the greatest country songwriters of his generation. He is one of only two people in the history of country music (along with Kris Kristofferson) to win two Song of the Year awards in the same year – for “Give It Away” and “In Color” – from the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association.

But perhaps less well known are his classical musicianship and love of symphony music, especially Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Robert Schumann, Johann Sebastian Bach and Richard Wagner.

Johnson began playing the French horn around age 11 and performed in his high school band and the Southwind Drum and Bugle Corp in Alabama. In 1993, he received a full scholarship from Jacksonville State University, where he studied music education, to play French horn and mellophone in the Marching Southerners. He also plays cornet. He left JSU to join the Marines, where he served for eight years before moving to Nashville to launch his career in country music. He has played the horn parts on his and others’ recordings.

In another full-circle moment, Johnson invited trumpet player Shane Porter to arrange the music for the shows with the Nashville Symphony. Porter is a member of the Tuscaloosa Horns, which is in the Alabama Music Hall of Fame, and was in the Southwind Drum and Bugle Corp.

Johnson has previously performed his songs with the National Symphony Orchestra at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in 2019 and the U.S. Capitol during the National Memorial Day Concert in 2024.

“What draws me to symphonic music is the same thing that drew me to it when I was a child: It is the technical format of it,” he says. “Sometimes it’s the key, sometimes it’s the rhythm. It’s unique. Sometimes it follows a formula, sometimes it doesn’t follow any formula at all but sounds beautiful. Sometimes it’s symmetrical and sometimes it’s not. It’s never ‘always the same thing.’

“To me, it is always beautiful. It has a calming tone that lures me in. It’s what I listen to when I’m home and need to get focused on something. I can put on classical music and study for an aviation test or get my taxes sorted. It feeds my brain in a way that even country music doesn’t.”

Johnson, who is on his 2025 headlining tour called The Last Honky Tonk Tour, will continue to offer his fans a variety of different shows, from full band and symphony shows to smaller road-band shows and solo acoustic performances. “I’m doing some shows with my studio band because we don’t get them out of Nashville enough, so I am taking them on the road in November with me to do some shows with Riley Green.

“I hope next year we get back to doing shows with other artists that I love,” he says. “We don’t get to see enough of each other. It’s because we don’t book the same nights, so we need to start doing that. That is what it is all about.”

Twice is pushing boundaries once again, bringing Once closer than ever with an intimate new arena run. The global K-pop superstars announced their 2026 This Is For World Tour, spanning North America, Europe, and the UK. Kicking off Friday, January 9th, in Vancouver, BC at Rogers Arena, the tour will hit major cities including Oakland, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago, Lisbon, Barcelona, and Paris before concluding Wednesday, June 3rd at The O2 in London, UK. For the first time, Twice will perform in-the-round on a 360-degree stage, transforming arenas into immersive spaces where fans can experience the show from every angle.

This new tour follows a series of historic milestones for TWICE. In 2024, they became the first female K-pop group to headline MLB and NFL stadiums, selling out Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium and New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium. They previously became the first female K-pop group to headline a U.S. stadium with two sold-out nights at LA’s BMO Stadium in 2022 — a record that set the stage for their unprecedented stadium tour. This year, they also became the first female K-pop group to headline Lollapalooza, where they drew one of the festival’s largest crowds. The trek arrives just one year after their record-breaking fifth world tour, Ready To Be, which drew 1.5 million fans across 51 shows in 27 cities worldwide.

Most recently, Twice released their fourth full-length album, This Is For, which debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart, marking the group’s seventh consecutive entry on the chart. The girl group also contributed to the official soundtrack for Netflix’s hit film K-Pop Demon Hunters. Members Jeongeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung recorded a special version of the original track “Takedown,” featured during the film’s powerful end sequence and accompanied by exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the recording studio. Their rendition of the song reached No. 58 on the Billboard Hot 100, while Twice’s hit single “Strategy,” also included on the film’s soundtrack, achieved notable success on the Hot 100 as well. These accomplishments set the stage for Twice’s highly anticipated tenth anniversary this October – a celebration of a decade of groundbreaking success, artistic evolution, and global impact.

Twice first launched their This Is For World Tour with two sold-out shows in Seoul and are currently touring across Asia. Previously announced dates will bring the tour to Australia, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and more this fall, before heading to the U.S., Canada, Europe, and the UK in 2026. David Broza Launches 2025 North American Tour

0

Internationally acclaimed Israeli singer-songwriter and peace activist David Broza will launch his highly anticipated North American tour this fall with powerful performances in Fort Lauderdale at the Parker Playhouse on November 18, Montreal’s Théâtre Rialto on November 22 and Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall on November 23—presented by Starvox Entertainment. Known for his electrifying stage presence and genre-defying blend of folk, rock, flamenco, and Latin influences, Broza brings to North America a reimagined concert experience rooted in hope, empathy, and cross-cultural connection.

In Canada, Montreal will host the official kick-off, with audiences at Rialto Theatre among the first to experience Broza’s refreshed live show—featuring striking visuals, new arrangements, and timeless messages of unity. The following night in Toronto, Broza takes the stage in a performance that marks a powerful full-circle moment for Corey Ross, founder and CEO of Starvox Entertainment, who first presented Broza nearly 30 years ago in a sold-out concert at Lee’s Palace. That debut marked Ross’s entry into producing—launching a career that would go on to redefine live entertainment in Canada and beyond.

“That night in 1995 was the beginning of everything for me,” says Ross. “Bringing David Broza back to Toronto is not just a musical milestone—it’s a personal one. His music is fearless in its belief that art can transcend politics and heal division. This tour is about standing for those values.”

David Broza’s storied career spans over four decades and more than 30 albums in Hebrew, English, and Spanish. A lifelong advocate for peace and dialogue, his work includes iconic anthems like “Yihye Tov” (“Things Will Get Better”)—written in response to the Israeli-Egyptian peace accords—and cross-cultural collaborations such as East Jerusalem West Jerusalem. His music speaks directly to the human desire for understanding, especially in times of conflict.

“I feel more strongly than ever that my music is a call to stand against hatred, to bring people together, and to keep faith in the idea that things can improve,” says Broza. “Montreal and Toronto, in particular are cities that value diversity and culture—it feels right to begin this journey here.”

The tour also reflects the evolving legacy of Starvox Entertainment. Under Ross’s leadership, the company has grown into a multi-platform powerhouse behind global hits such as Immersive Van Gogh, Potted Potter, Evil Dead: The Musical, and The Art of Banksy. Starvox is the only Canadian live entertainment company named to PROFIT Magazine’s Top Growth Companies five times.

David Broza’s 2025 North American tour promises evenings of virtuosic guitar work, evocative storytelling, and music that bridges cultures, languages, and ideologies.

Tickets for Fort Lauderdale (Nov. 18) Montreal (Nov. 22) and Toronto (Nov. 23) are on sale now at www.starvoxent.com.
