“Electric”! “Magical”! Canadian RnB popstress Neena Rose hits “Rewind” in 🔥 new single ⏮

0

Canadian RnB-pop powerhouse Neena Rose presses “Rewind” in new lo-fi RnB pop banger — available now! — ahead of panelist appearance at the California Copyright Conference later this month.

“It encompasses that nostalgic feeling associated with a past relationship,” Rose muses on the track, which has seen early support from influential playlisters Stopify, Caltify MX, and more. “It’s about dwelling on the memories made with a once-special someone, and wishing for a ‘do-over.’”

Heartbreak is one of time’s oldest tales, and Rose’s perspective serves those related mixed emotions to audiences on a sonic silver platter. “Mixed feelings are inevitable result of an unexpected split,” she says. “This song is about knowing you’ve lost any chance of rekindling those same feelings, and fantasizing about ‘rewinding’ time before the connection was lost.”

Matters of modern romance feature predominantly in Rose’s extensive songwriting repertoire; 2018’s breakout releases “Games” and “Circles” tackled love gone awry with a contemporary edge, and were critically acclaimed by the likes of Spotify’s New Music Fridays, Neptis, The Feels, 100FM, Inspot Music, Esydia, Noble Vybe, The Fresh Committee, and more. She has been dubbed an “amazing young talent, incredible vocalist and witty lyricist” and a “sheer joy” to work with by 80 Empire of Universal Music Publishing Group.

This month, Neena Rose will be the first young Canadian female artist at the California Copyright Conference in Los Angeles; she will appear at the “Young Guns — Innovative and Thriving in the New World Music Order” event on Tuesday, March 19th.

Moderated by Heavy Harmony Music’s Rhonda Bedikian, Rose will contribute to the panel-led discussion alongside Defend Music A&R exec Greg Katz and artist, composer and producer NoMBe.

Dallas Smith and Dean Brody Announce “Friends Don’t Let Friends Tour Alone” Tour

0

This fall will bring together two iconic country artists, Dean Brody and Dallas Smith, for the first-ever, larger-than-life, Friends Don’t Let Friends Tour Alone Tour, kicking off in Sault Ste. Marie on Sept 18, before heading across the country.

Shortly thereafter, the two unique artists known for their multiple #1 smash hits will take to the Budweiser Stage in Toronto for an epic co-headlined evening. Familiar friends will share the stage with Brody and Smith throughout the anticipated event, with special guests Chad Brownlee and MacKenzie Porter joining the award-winning pair on the national tour.

Tickets to this impressive two-hour collaborative show involving two of the country’s biggest acts will be available begining March 8 at 10am local time. VIP packages will also be available for sale and will include an intimate performance and meet & greets with Brody and Smith, along with an exclusive VIP merch item, and early access to the venue.

With multiple JUNO Awards and a plethora of CCMA Awards to each of their credits, Dean Brody and Dallas Smith remain two of the most celebrated artists in Canadian Country Music. New music is on the immediate horizon from both artists heading into the summer festival season and tour, with Smith’s EP “The Fall” out on March 15, which includes his latest chart topping single, “Rhinestone World”; and Brody dropping a brand new single March 8, titled “Whiskey in a Teacup”, followed by a new EP in April.

Smith’s knack for chart topping singles has him credited as the first and only Canadian Country Artist in the Nielson BDS era to have four consecutive #1 singles from the same album, and six in total, surpassing Shania Twain on both fronts. Brody’s compelling songwriting abilities have also led to record-breaking stats, such as the title and award for #1 selling Canadian country digital track of all-time, while showcasing his unparalleled ability to bring storytelling to the forefront of country music. Fans across the country are sure to be blown away by the pairing of these two award-winning artists, through the course of an immersive, co-headlined show.

Also joining this acclaimed duo on tour as special guests are: country star Chad Brownlee, who is actively preparing for his first major label album debut, with a new single recently released, titled, “Forever’s Gotta Start Somewhere”; and rising star MacKenzie Porter, who recently released two new tracks, “Drive Thru” and her single currently climbing the Canadian charts, “About You”, both of which showcase the incredible abilities of this Nashville-based, Canadian-born singer-songwriter.

Also joining as a special guest on Toronto and Ottawa dates will be American singer-songwriter, Jimmie Allen, best known for his #1 hit single, “Best Shot”.

Jim James and The Claypool Lennon Delirium have announced plans for a summer 2019 co-headline tour. The two acts will join forces for nine dates across the United States and Canada – beginning June 21 at Salt Lake City’s Eccles Theater and then continuing into early July.

“For over 150 years, the firm of Claypool and Lennon has been providing clients with only the finest in rock and roll delirium and stark raving madness. This summer, I am excited and honored to say that we will be teaming up to offer a brand new twist on one of the most time tested and proven methods for inducing beautifully swirling and whirling delightfully delicious delirium: the healing power of rock and roll!” said James.

“Tour pairing is often a challenge in my world but I think we have a good package with The Delirium and Jim James. Jim’s music, from my perspective, is palatable to the masses yet has just enough eclecticism to keep an oddball like me intrigued. I look forward to shambling around the country with him,” said Les Claypool.

Presales begin Wednesday, March 6 at 10 am (local). Local presales follow on Thursday, March 7 at 10 am (local). All presales conclude Thursday, March 7 at 10 pm (local). SLIPKNOT shocked fans around the globe last year with the release of a brand new track, “All Out Life.” Reaction to the unrelenting track was staggering, with the official music video – directed by the band’s own M. Shawn Crahan – trending Top Ten of all videos worldwide on YouTube in it’s first day on the band’s official YouTube channel. In the four months since release, “All Out Life” has already racked up over 30 million streams worldwide across digital service providers and 30 million YouTube views. “All Out Life” is available now at all digital service providers.

SLIPKNOT are at once popular and critically recognized, despite their unflinching and uncompromising pursuit of their art. Emerging twenty years ago from Des Moines Iowa, the band’s 1999 eponymous debut album is widely regarded as a modern day classic and was honored by Metal Hammer magazine as the ‘Best Debut of the Last 25 Years.’ The release quickly racked up double RIAA platinum certification in the US, with many of SLIPKNOT’s subsequent releases achieving platinum status around the globe. To date, the band have been nominated for 10 Grammy Awards (winning in 2006 for ‘Before I Forget’), as well as scoring 13 Platinum and 44 Gold record certifications around the world, 30 million unit sales and over 2.5 billion YouTube views to date. SLIPKNOT’s fanbase is as unwavering as it is ubiquitous – the band’s last studio album, 2014’s ‘.5: The Gray Chapter’ debuted Top 5 in the Official Album Charts of 19 countries around the world, including the US (#1), UK (#2), Japan (#1), Australia (#1), Russia (#1) & Germany (#2).
