aron!, the 21 year old singer, songwriter, guitarist and pianist, shares his debut EPcozy you (and other nice songs), out now on Verve Records/Universal Music Canada. It’s an intimate six-track introduction to aron!’s world of cozy music. Along with the EP, aron! shares the lyric video for “eggs in the morning,” a romantic, tongue-in-cheek waltz of a song that showcases aron!’s charm.
Listen to cozy you (and other nice songs),here, watch the lyric video for “eggs in the morning” here, and the previously released official video for “table for two,” here.
It’s important to know that when you listen to aron!, you’ll hear his virtuosity, but you’ll also hear his authenticity. When he isn’t making music, he’s either on a long walk outside, eating pho and ramen (his diet almost exclusively), or watching an episode of Gilmore Girls.
aron! has amassed millions of streams and built a loyal, dedicated following as he gears up to make his Verve Records debut. This EP is all about how everyone wants to get “cozy” sometimes — “My songs are little vignettes from my life,” he observes. “To me, ‘cozy’ is the perfect word for the vibe of this project. Hopefully, you’ll think so too!
Born and raised in Charlotte, NC, aron!’s mom and dad introduced him to rock icons like Pearl Jam and Led Zeppelin, but it was the game Guitar Hero that first made him pick up a real guitar at eight-years-old and enroll in lessons at a local music school. He eventually met an “80-year-old jazz guitar teacher at Sam Ash.” The instructor taught aron! how to read music and further inspired his passion for jazz. Maybe it was the pre-teen rebellion inside that pushed him from rock and into jazz. In high school, he also regularly played music for the residents of retirement homes, performing old classics from Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra for dementia patients. “I’d put on my little bow tie and a dress shirt to make it official,” he laughs.
aron! studied classical composition at University of North Carolina School of the Arts, developing an appreciation for Chopin, Ravel, and Bach. During COVID, he dedicated himself to learning piano, waking up at 7:30am daily and exploring all that you can do with 88 keys. He earned a full scholarship to the University of Miami and majored in jazz voice and film scoring. Simultaneously, he cut his teeth live by playing dozens of shows in his indie pop band Sunny Side Up!.
In 2023, he explored what he calls “a vintage pop sound,” and started building a strong following online. Labels started to call, and he signed to Verve to further develop his brand of ‘cozy pop’ on this new EP. “It’s like singer-songwriter jazz,” he goes on. “I’ve always resonated with the real old-school romantics. People are going through the same things now as they were back then. Heartbreak is heartbreak, and love is love. We’re all humans, and that’s what most of these songs are about.”
Once you get to know aron!, you won’t forget him.

Today, Brian Eno and Beatie Wolfe share their collaborative albums, Luminaland Lateral and you can listen here to Luminal and Lateral.
Eno and Wolfe first met through their environmental work when they gave a SXSW featured talk on ‘Art and Climate’. The talk was recently selected as one of the festival’s best in 25 years.
The pair then met again when they were each showing their visual and conceptual art pieces at separate galleries in London. Their musical collaboration grew out of those meetings.
Commenting on the new single Eno says “In Play On the piece took us somewhere unusual, a place where some quite incompatible feelings became restless bedfellows – there’s anger and ecstasy, some kind of desperation mixed with some kind of force – and some kind of joy. Is there a word for that mixed feeling? Even if there isn’t, there’s now a piece of music for it.”
Reflecting on their collaboration on this project, which was recorded sporadically by the pair through 2024, Brian and Beatie said:
“Music is about making feelings happen. Some of those feelings are familiar, while others may not be – or may be complex mixtures of several different feelings. There are many beautiful words for such feelings in other languages and cultures – words that don’t exist in English. By giving a feeling a name, we make that feeling more likely to be felt, more tangible. Art is able to trigger feelings, or feeling mixtures, that we’ve never quite felt before. In this way, a piece of Art can become the ‘mother’ for a type of feeling, and a place you can go to find and re-experience that feeling. Some of the feelings we found ourselves working with were these…

Brian Eno bio – musician, producer, visual artist and activist first came to international prominence in the early seventies as a founding member of British band, Roxy Music, followed by a series of solo albums and collaborations. His work as producer includes albums with Talking Heads, Devo, U2, Laurie Anderson, James, Jane Siberry and Coldplay, while his long list of collaborations include recordings with David Bowie, Jon Hassell, Harold Budd, David Byrne, Grace Jones, his brother, Roger, on ‘Mixing Colours’ and recently with Fred Again. In January 2024, ‘Eno’, a generative film about his life was screened at Sundance film festival to critical acclaim. It was accompanied by a soundtrack release with new unreleased songs and classic Eno recordings spanning five decades.
Eno’s visual experiments with light and video continue to parallel his musical career, with exhibitions and installations all over the globe. He has exhibited extensively, as far afield as St. Petersburg’s Marble Palace, Ritan Park in Beijing, Arcos de Lapa in Rio de Janeiro and the sails of the Sydney Opera House. He is involved in multiple activist work, such as the climate charity Earth Percent and HardArt, both of which he co-founded, as well as the Stop The War coalition. He is a founding member of the Long Now Foundation, a trustee of Client Earth and patron of Videre est Credere. In 2023, Brian was awarded the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement by the Venice Biennale Musica. He has recently written his second book, “What Art Does” co-authored with Bette A. and based upon his experience as an artist. Published by Faber, it was released in January 2025.
Lil Yachty has officially released his latest song “Murda” along with an accompanying music video. Reimagining the 2016 viral hit “Alaska,” Yachty delivers a barrage of introspective lyrics over a chopped up Maggie Rogers vocal sample. Directed by frequent collaborator AMD Visuals, and produced and released under Lyrical Lemonade, the cinematic music video highlights Yachty’s impeccable fashion sense as the creative maverick piles up riches at a shooting range with two luxuriously styled models, while rapid outfit changes flood the screen. The new track follows his recent run of shows with Tyler, the Creator on the Chromakopia World Tour.
Michael Poulsen (vocals, guitar), and Jon Larsen (drums), and Kaspar Boye Larsen (bass) — are are thrilled to release their ninth album God Of Angels Trust. This album arrives today, June 6. Get it here.
The album will coincide with plenty of summer touring on the band’s “Greatest Of All Tours Worldwide,” with further dates and details below.
Today, the band has shared “Demonic Depression.”
“‘Demonic Depression’ is based on one of my really good friends and the state of mind that he was in for a couple of years,” says Poulsen. “I’ve played it for several friends, and they’ve all asked, ‘Did you write that about me?’ Which is a little scary and just shows how many people are dealing with mental issues in certain parts of their lives and how many are constantly struggling.”
He furthers, “It’s about some heavy mental issues, so I guess the message is pretty universal. Depression is so all-consuming, and it affects so many people, and the best way to help someone struggling with it is to talk to them and listen what they have to say. I’ve had my share of mental issues throughout life, so I guess I’m part of the lyrics, too.”
With God Of Angels Trust, the Danish band — which has scored 11 No. 1 songs on the Billboard Mainstream Rock airplay chart, with the latest being the new album’s first single “By a Monster’s Hand,” marking the most ever for a band based outside North America — has thrown caution to the wind, ignored comfort zones, and paid little heed to traditional songwriting in the search for something more immediate and surprising. The end result will thrill Volbeat’s dedicated legion of fans.
Poulsen’s excitement to thwart convention is palpable throughout God Of Angels Trust, a punchy, crunchy album that’s undeniably Volbeat, yet marches to a fresh new metallic and melodic energy.
As impressive as it is that Volbeat wrote and recorded an entire album in about five weeks, what’s more incredible is that God Of Angels Trust sounds as fleshed out, eclectic, and fulfilling as albums that have taken 10 times longer (or more) to create. In the end, creating such a strong album so quickly was a tremendous challenge that demanded Zen-like calm, a joy for exploration, maximal creativity, and razor-sharp concentration to pull off.
Volbeat will return to the road on the “Greatest Of All Tours Worldwide,” running throughout 2025. The tour kicks off tomorrow, June 7, in Vancouver, BC, with the first show of a co-headline Canadian run with Three Days Grace and special guests Wage War. The tour then continues with headline treks in the U.S., with special guests Halestorm and The Ghost Inside, and Europe and the UK with special guests Bush and Witch Fever. All dates are below.

After building widespread anticipation for its arrival throughout culture, GRAMMY, Tony, and EMMY Award winner and three-time Academy Award nominee Cynthia Erivo proudly presents her anxiously awaited new album, I Forgive You, out now.
She set the stage for the release with “Worst Of Me.” This standout has already amassed amazing critical acclaim. Forbes raved, “Erivo’s soaring vocals are right at home in the emotionally charged R&B ballad as she addresses a past lover who left her in pain,” and Billboard applauded how, “The artist brings out some of her deepest vulnerabilities, belting out her deepest pains in a powerful synth pop anthem.” Essence described it as a “beautiful ballad.”
This 20-track affair illuminates every side of the songstress though, coupling moments of revelation with reflections of pain, seasons of vulnerability, and a newfound confidence empowering her to elevate to another stratosphere as a vocalist, songwriter, performer, and presence.
She performed “Worst of Me” off the album during a stunning performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night (watch HERE) and this morning, she performed the track alongside “Brick By Brick”, “Best For Me” and a cover of Annie Lennox’s “Why” on the TODAY Citi Concert Series (watch HERE).
Next up, she will host the 78th Annual Tony Awards this Sunday, June 8! She will undoubtedly captivate the audience at Radio City Music Hall in New York, NY and viewers worldwide. The ceremony broadcasts live on CBS and Paramount+.
Cynthia has carefully curated this 20-track body of work, cowriting every song and showcasing the range of her expansive, entrancing, and enigmatic vocals. Holding nothing back and opening up more than ever before, she traces a personal, poetic, and poignant journey through romance, heartbreak, love, forgiveness, rebirth, and new beginnings.
Check out the full tracklisting below.
She initially teased this chapter with the release of “Replay.” Co-written by Cynthia and Justin Tranter (Selena Gomez, Chappell Roan, Lady Gaga), it has already gathered millions of streams. Listen HERE and watch the visualizer HERE. Inciting tastemaker applause, Billboard highlighted how it “delves into the emotional rollercoaster of being human,” while ELLE hailed it as “groundbreaking,” going on to proclaim, “The confessional single is transfixing.” ESSENCE named it among “Best New Music This Week,” predicting, “Cynthia Erivo looks to add her name to the Billboard charts with the new single ‘Replay’.” Plus, she broke down the song for Genius.
Earlier this year, she was nominated in the category of “Best Actress” at the 2025 Academy Awards for her unanimously acclaimed portrayal of Elphaba in last year’s blockbuster Wicked. She also took the Oscars’ stage for a showstopping performance.
Experience I Forgive You and more from Cynthia in 2025.
Cynthia Erivo’s sophomore album I Forgive You marks a bold – and vulnerable – new chapter in the Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award-winning actress, singer, author as well as SAG, Golden Globe, and 3x Academy Award nominee’s artistry. The tenderhearted 20-track LP is a soft testimony of her life, a haunting plea to be witnessed with an open heart. The album is split into four parts: a breakup, something new, the deepening of a connection, and acceptance. Each part is divided by haunting interludes where Cynthia’s voice is the only instrument. Blending the sounds of pop, R&B, folk, Britpop, hip-hop, wailing, and gospel, I Forgive You leaps headfirst into the most vulnerable and impassioned moments of her life, a slow-baked reminder that we’re all just flesh and bone. The good and the bad, and everything in between, make up the stories of our lives, and Cynthia Erivo is a sight to behold.

Lil Wayne rewrote the entire game in his image. The five-time GRAMMY Award-winning multi-platinum rap icon, Young Money Entertainment founder, acclaimed author, pro skater, philanthropist, and history-making superstar left an indelible tattoo on the culture. By 2020, he cemented his legacy forever as “one of the best-selling artists of all time,” tallying sales in excess of 100 million records worldwide with 25 million albums and 90 million digital tracks sold in the United States alone. In 2022, Wayne earned his first Diamond certification from the RIAA with his generational smash hit “Lollipop” feat. Static Major. Not to mention, he garnered 11 BET Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, two MTV VMAs, and eight NAACP Image Awards. Among many milestones, he emerged as “the first male artist to surpass Elvis Presley with the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100,” logging a staggering 183 entries – the 3rd most of all time.
With a discography highlighted by five career spanning #1 debuts beginning with 2008’s 6x platinum, 3x GRAMMY Award-winning opus Tha Carter III and its 5x platinum, 2011 successor Tha Carter IV, he released the latest version of the series – Tha Carter V – in 2018. Not only did it clinch #1 on the Billboard 200, but it also achieved “the second-largest streaming week for an album in history.” Every song on the tracklisting charted on the Billboard Hot 100 as he became “the first artist to debut two songs in the top 5.” It all bulldozed the way for his thirteenth full-length, Funeral, a year later. Simultaneously, Wayne owns and operates Young Money Entertainment as C.E.O. The company ignited the careers of two of the most successful artists ever—Drake and Nicki Minaj. The committed philanthropist founded The One Family Foundation too.

Pop’s rising star Sofia Camara returns with her fresh single “Girls Like You,” released today, accompanied by a vibrant lyric video, the track marks a bold, danceable step for the 23-year-old singer-songwriter, as she pivots from ballads to breezy summer pop.
Speaking about the track, Camara shares, “This song is about emotional muscle memory… There’s something so beautiful about a little bit of danger and the unknown – especially when it feels so familiar, like love.”
“Girls Like You” brings together a high-profile songwriting team: Mike Wise, Nathan Ferraro, Lowell, and Donny Bravo. The team previously worked on Camara’s hit “Who Do I Call Now? (Hellbent),” and includes Lowell, the 2025 JUNO Songwriter of the Year, and Ferraro, co-writer of Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em.”
Already road-tested during Camara’s opening set for Dean Lewis’ sold-out European tour, “Girls Like You” sparked fan enthusiasm, with pre-release teasers reaching over 14.4 million views.
Sofia Camara continues a breakout year, with highlights including her duet “With You” with Dean Lewis, upcoming festival debuts at Osheaga and Lollapalooza, and her first headline tour, the Healing Hearts Tour, kicking off in Europe this fall.
If Baryshnikov was a robot and the stage was a parking lot, you’d get Hyundai’s new parking robots. These little geniuses glide 2.2-ton cars into perfect spots like they’re auditioning for Swan Lake. Somewhere, a valet is applauding.
Music has a magical way of transporting us—one chord, one lyric, and suddenly we’re in another world. But for many artists, the need to step away from the stage and the studio to find real-world inspiration is more than just a luxury—it’s essential. While many creatives seek out the buzz of cities like Berlin or Los Angeles, a new wave of musicians and entertainers are trading the neon lights for something a little quieter, a little slower, and a lot more picturesque: the Maltese island of Gozo.
Gozo is a serene escape, steeped in Mediterranean history and overflowing with natural beauty. While it’s far from the traditional music hotspots, it’s quickly gaining ground as a retreat for artists looking to refresh their minds, recharge their creativity, and, perhaps most importantly, disconnect to reconnect.
Why Artists Are Flocking to Gozo
It’s not just the turquoise waters or the centuries-old limestone cliffs that are drawing musicians to Gozo—it’s the rhythm of the place itself. The island pulses at its own tempo, slower than most of us are used to. And that’s the point.
Imagine writing your next album’s lyrics while sitting on a cliffside overlooking the Azure Window, or mixing beats to the soothing soundtrack of waves crashing in Xlendi Bay. Gozo isn’t loud, but it’s deeply musical in its own quiet, ambient way.
Here’s why Gozo makes such an attractive spot for music and entertainment professionals:
Solitude without Isolation: Artists can escape the noise but still find vibrant local culture.
Visual and Sonic Inspiration: From the hum of fishing boats to live local folk music, it’s a feast for the senses.
History and Harmony: The island’s temples, churches, and narrow village streets offer both visual backdrops and thematic material for storytelling.
Getting There Without Missing a Beat
For those on a tight schedule—whether mid-tour or squeezing in a brief creative sabbatical—convenience matters. That’s why many performers and their crews opt forGozo high speed services. These high-speed ferry connections cut down on travel time from Malta dramatically, letting you focus more on your craft and less on logistics. Quick access to the island without sacrificing comfort has made Gozo an increasingly viable stop for music video shoots, acoustic sessions, or just a much-needed breather.
The Island’s Growing Artistic Footprint
While Gozo is still relatively untouched by mass commercialism, it’s far from sleepy. Local events like the Victoria International Arts Festival or Gaulitana: A Festival of Music are proof of the island’s growing cultural clout. Indie musicians have begun organizing pop-up beachside gigs, and filmmakers are capturing the unique lighting and textures of the island in their visual storytelling.
Even some international artists have been spotted using Gozo as a location for music videos and album covers, enticed by its authentic charm and cinematic views. Whether it’s a stripped-down acoustic set filmed at Dwejra Bay or an ethereal synth-heavy track recorded in a restored farmhouse, the island delivers on both vibe and vibe-check.
Crafting Sound in Silence: Gozo’s Creative Edge
In an industry dominated by overproduction and saturation, quiet can be a radical creative decision. Many artists who visit Gozo note how the lack of city noise and digital distractions enhances their songwriting process. Here, the muse doesn’t yell—it whispers.
Studios and remote recording setups have also started to pop up in renovated villas and stone-walled homes, allowing musicians to lay down high-quality tracks without needing to be in a major studio hub. The focus? Craft over chaos.
Noteworthy Perks for Creatives in Gozo
Feature
Benefit for Artists
Quiet natural settings
Ideal for songwriting and meditation
Local food and wine scene
Fuel for creativity and relaxation
Reliable high-speed ferry
Easy to travel even with limited time
Emerging music scene
Room for collaboration and low-pressure exposure
Authentic visual landscapes
Perfect for photography, videography, and filming
Final Notes from the Soundtrack of Gozo
You don’t need to be a folk artist or classical composer to appreciate Gozo’s gifts. DJs, pop singers, indie bands, even filmmakers and podcast hosts—all can find something of value on this island. Whether you’re laying down a beat, building a brand, or simply recharging between gigs, Gozo provides a space where your creativity can exhale.
Its rhythm is different. Slower, sure. But in a world that never stops spinning, sometimes slowing down is exactly what your art needs.

Today, multi-platinum producer Pitt Tha Kid releases his latest single, “Drill To Dubai.” Listen here.
On “Drill To Dubai,” Pitt Tha Kid is introducing himself as a culture conduit by bringing together sounds from across the world through his 4 featured artists.
“The idea behind this record was to pull different cultures together and create a sound that hasn’t been heard before,” says Pitt. “It combines the NY, Arabic and Indian hip hop scenes for an anthem we can all vibe to.”
From the United States, Pitt brings in New York City’s heavy hitter DD Osama. DD began his music career in 2021, and quickly rose to fame with his music video for “40s N 9s” amassing over 28 million views on YouTube, contributing to his growing popularity. From the bubbling South Asian music scene, Pitt brings in Big Boi Deep, a Punjabi singer and lyricist known for blending traditional Punjabi lyrics with modern Western beats. From Egypt, Pitt has brought on FL EX, a prominent rapper and singer who has significantly influenced the Egyptian drill and North African hip-hop scenes. Last, but not least, Pitt has enlisted Tayeb Santo – a rising rapper and hip-hop artist born and raised in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), known for his unique ability to blend multiple Arabic dialects into his music. Tayeb is fluent in several Arabic dialects—Arabic Fusha, Emirati, and Egyptian, to name a few—allowing him to connect with audiences across different Arab communities, giving his music a distinctive, relatable edge.
The track arrives alongside a high energy music video which features footage from each artist, shot in their respective cities, with Pitt at the centre bringing together sights and sounds from across the world.
In only five years since carving his own path in the industry, Pitt’s versatile creativity and natural skill has earned him three #1 albums (Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon by Pop Smoke, So Much Fun by Young Thug, Los Dioses by Latin superstars Anuel AA & Ozuna, 11:11 by Chris Brown, and pink tape by Lil Uzi Vert) and production credits for some of the hottest names in music (Coi Leray, Lil Wayne, EST Gee, NAV, Big Sean, Bryson Tiller, Chlöe Bailey, Mike WiLL Made-It, ScHoolboy Q, 2 Chainz).
