High On Fire Announces European Tour In Support Of ‘Cometh The Storm’

High on Fire, has announced a European headlining tour in support of its celebrated LP, ‘Cometh the Storm’. The GRAMMY Award-winning group will kick off the sixteen-city, nine country tour on October 25 in Maastricht, Netherlands.

The tour is scheduled to run through November 16 in Istanbul, Turkey and will include high profile appearances as part of the Samhain Festival (NL), Bruges is Doomed (BE), and the Damnation Festival (UK). Support to High on Fire on non-festival dates will come from Necrot.

“Europe, take shelter; a storm is coming!,” said the band in statement. “Prepare thy ears! High on Fire draws near.”

The GRAMMY Award-winning group, celebrating their 25th anniversary, recorded Cometh the Storm at GodCity Studio in Salem, Massachusetts with producer Kurt Ballou. The 11-song effort – the band’s ninth studio album – marked the release of the first new High on Fire music since 2018’s Electric Messiah and the first to feature drummer Coady Willis (Big Business, Murder City Devils), alongside bassist Jeff Matz, and guitarist/vocalist Matt Pike.

It has been more than five years since the band’s revered Electric Messiah earned High on Fire ‘Best Metal Performance’ at the 2019 GRAMMY Awards, placing the unit among the ranks of groups such as Black Sabbath, Motörhead, and Metallica as winners of the prestigious award. “Being nominated for a Grammy was pretty mind blowing, but winning one was truly surreal,” says bassist Jeff Matz. “A Grammy win was certainly not something we were aiming for, but it’s quite an honor to be recognized in that way, and we are grateful. In terms of how it’s affected us, it has definitely opened some new doors—we’ve gained some new fans and wider recognition, but it hasn’t changed how we approach our craft. We’ve always tried to create uncompromising music that feels good to us, and is in line with what we would want to listen to.“

In the half decade since the band’s Grammy nod, the world has seismically shifted and is a different place. The same can be said for High on Fire. The band’s musical archetype has been modded, morphed, and evolved; its blast radius widened. Bassist Jeff Matz joined Mutoid Man and traveled abroad to study and learn the techniques of Middle Eastern folk music and the plucked string instrument, the bağlama (or saz), Matt Pike formed a solo band, released an LP, and toured the U.S., and world-renowned percussionist, Coady Willis, he of Melvins, Big Business, and Murder City Devils united with Pike and Matz to breathe new life into the group a quarter century into their captivating career.

Universally recognised as one of the most potent acts in music today, High on Fire creates dynamic metal that merges primal fury and aggression, hesher bombast and hall of fame heaviness. Described as “a supersonic exercise in conquest by volume,” High on Fire has rewritten the hard rock rule book since their formation in 1998, forging a style and sound that is both critically celebrated and unique. The group features vocalist and cult guitar hero Matt Pike (also a founding member of the famed underground band SLEEP) singular bassist Jeff Matz, and powerhouse drummer Coady Willis.

Colt Ford Releases Country-Rap Anthem “Farmboy” Featuring Caden McGuire

Country-rap trailblazer Colt Ford returns today with “Farmboy,” featuring TikTok star and rising country artist Caden McGuire, out now via Average Joes Entertainment. Co-written by Ford alongside Brian Kelley, Steven Lee Olsen, Hunter Phelps, and Jordan Schmidt, the track pairs Ford’s down-to-earth, rapid-fire verses with McGuire’s hook-heavy chorus – delivering a laid-back, infectious anthem tailor-made for cold beers, backroads, and long, sun-drenched days. Fueled by a summertime groove, “Farmboy” is a proud salute to the grit, pride, and rhythm of rural living.

“I’ve been a fan of Caden’s for a while – we’re cut from the same cloth,” Ford shares. “When I heard this track, I knew it was meant for him. It’s everything we are: faith, family, hunting, fishing, country living. I’m excited about working with Caden, I think he’s going to be a big star in country music.” Caden explains, “When Colt hit me up, I was blown away. I grew up listening to him. I may not be a farmer, but I respect everything they do. This song is about the life I live – hunting, fishing, thanking God on the porch. I’m pumped to be a part of it.”

“Farmboy” follows Ford’s recent singles “Shades” (with Bryan Martin feat. Yelawolf) and “Hell Out Of It” (feat. Michael Ray), both marking his powerful return after a near-fatal heart attack in 2024. Ford, recently profiled in PEOPLE Magazine and Fox News credits faith, family, and fans for his recovery and renewed creative fire.

With a second lease on life, the Georgia-born singer, songwriter, rapper, and Average Joes Entertainment co-founder is looking forward to delivering fresh shows and an arsenal of new music. He has built a genre-blurring career marked by millions of sales, billions of streams, and a who’s-who of collaborators.

“I’ve been so lucky and blessed to work with the people I have,” he says. “I just let the song lead me to who I want to work with – and hope they want to work with me.” Now, mindful that life can change in the blink of an eye, Ford says he’s learned to “walk a little slower,” savoring every moment and every mile.

Ford will join Brantley Gilbert on select dates of the “Tattoos” Tour. While stepping back on stage after his traumatic health scare comes with its share of nerves, Ford says there’s no one better to help him ease back in. “BG, who’s like a little brother to me, is as good as it gets,” he shares.

LISA and Maroon 5 Team Up for Bold New Single and Video “PRICELESS”

dancer, actor, and style icon LISA to debut an infectious new single “PRICELESS,” out today via 222/Interscope Records.

The song also notably marks the first time Maroon 5 has collaborated with a K-pop artist. In addition to the debut of their new single, the music video for “PRICELESS” has premiered today. Directed by Aerin Moreno (Tate McRae, Tyla), the playful and stylish clip was shot in downtown Los Angeles on 35mm film and visually gives a nod to the film Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

“PRICELESS” is a prelude into Maroon 5’s upcoming eighth studio album, of which details will be formally announced soon. On the album, the band are returning to their roots with their new music while subtly expanding their sound.

Of their upcoming album release and new single, Adam Levine said, “It’s just a guitar-based song which we haven’t really done in so long. It happened first for us while we were recording the album. I think it’s just the purest and we are so happy to have LISA on it. The guitar intro is literally me playing into an audio message on my iPhone with an unplugged guitar. I actually got a little emotional recording ’cause it was sort of reconnecting to our roots, which a lot of our fans have been saying ‘hey we want to hear that sound again.’ It’s been like over 20 years so I think it’s time for that to return.”

Added James Valentine, “I got super emotional when Adam sent me the original demo of ‘PRICELESS’ because for me the sound represents Maroon 5’s earlier days. I joined the band in 2001 so when I was seeing them play in 2000, ‘PRICELESS’ gave me the same sort of excitement from the chords to overall vibe. I was super stoked on it and it established the writing and sound for our upcoming album.”

In addition to their new music, Maroon 5 are also preparing to announce an upcoming world tour. The US dates follow an extended residency at Las Vegas’ Dolby Live at Park MGM, which has now reached 40 total performances.

Grammy-nominated R&B powerhouse Summer Walker (LVRN/Interscope Records) unveils her latest single and music video for “Spend It,” a sultry, unapologetic anthem that ushers in a brand-new era for the chart-topping artist. Arriving with two additional versions-“Spend It (Diamonds & Pearls Version)” and “Spend It (Rent is Due Version)”-the track is now available on all streaming platforms.

Opening with the bold line “Give me the last 4 of your credit card, buy back my love, you can keep your heart,” Summer makes it clear: love comes second to luxury this time around. With “Spend It,” Summer flips the narrative on romance, trading emotional depth for material clarity. It’s a song about power, pain, and pleasure-wrapped in silk, laced with satire, and set to a hypnotic R&B groove. She’s venting, but she’s over it. Set inside an exclusive private game at a lavish mansion, Summer plays a seductive ringleader on a mission to crack a high-security safe filled with money and expensive antiques. Between flashes of fine dining, high-stakes gameplay, and surreal shots of Summer in a pearl-filled bathtub and a turquoise trap room, the heist unfolds with a dramatic twist-Robertson opens the safe to find a Joker card and realizes he’s been played. The video ends with a cryptic message: “WhereIsTheAlbum.com,” followed by a surprise cameo from Joanne the Scammer, who offers Summer one final clue.

“Spend It” introduces fans to a new era of Summer-an era inspired by over-the-top glamour and hyper-femininity. The single will appear on Finally Over It, the final chapter in a trilogy that began with Over It (2019) and continued with Still Over It (2021). In this album, Summer walks away from past cycles and into a fantasy version of the life she’s creating for herself-where heartbreak becomes art, and the past is finally paid in full.

This summer, Walker will be an opener for Chris Brown’s Breezy Bowl XX Stadium Tour with Bryson Tiller, and will also perform at Daisies Festival in South Africa, further expanding her global presence and fanbase.

Vevo and Britney Spears released a new episode of Footnotes commemorating the 25th anniversary of her legendary hit, “Oops!…I Did It Again” offering a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the unforgettable music video that defined a pop era and introduced one of the most iconic looks in music video history.

Directed by Nigel Dick and choreographed by Tina Landon, the video originally premiered on MTV’s Making the Video on April 10, 2000 and quickly became a pop culture moment-from the Mars set and Titanic-inspired interlude to the iconic red latex catsuit, which was Britney’s idea.

The Footnotes episode is packed with fun details: Max Martin not only produced the song but voiced the skit in the video, the astronaut finds the original single’s cover art in the wreckage and Britney’s look swapping her original red boots for black sneakers mid-shoot because the boots were too uncomfortable. Britney pushed through a couple of injuries during filming, including stitches and a twisted ankle, to deliver one of her most memorable performances.

“Oops…I Did It Again!” was the lead single for Britney’s second studio album, which shattered the record for most first-week sales by a female artist, holding that title until Adele’s 25 in 2015. In a 2020 Instagram post, Britney reflected on the moment: “The anticipation and the butterflies I felt before it came out were crazy… All of my expectations were exceeded!”

Coming off his first-ever Coachella performance, multi-platinum rap innovator Yeat has shared his cover of Drake’s classic track “Feel No Ways” – out now via Lyfestyle Corporation / Field Trip / Capitol Records. “Feel No Wayz (Yeat mix)” marks his third release of the year, following standout single “The Bell” and a feature on “Work” with Anyma, the solo project of Matteo Milleri from the electronic duo Tale of Us.

First previewed during his Sahara Stage set at Coachella Weekend 1 – where a 50-foot golden bell towered over the crowd in homage to his breakout hit “Get Busy” – Yeat’s extraterrestrial, autotune-drenched rendition of the Drake cult classic quickly became an internet-breaking moment.

In the days leading up to the release, billboards popped up around Toronto with a text from Drake that read, “YOUNG TWIZZZZZY FEEL A WAY”, teasing the remix and fueling endless internet discourse.

The release marks a rare moment of homage between two generations of rap visionaries. Yeat and Drake’s collaborative history includes standout tracks like “As We Speak” and “IDGAF” , with the latter debuting at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, #1 on the Global 200, and amassing over 1 billion streams to date.

Drake has long been a vocal supporter of Yeat’s futuristic sound and boundary-pushing vision, first publicly connecting with the rising star in 2021 following the release of Yeat’s fourth album Up 2 Me. With “Feel No Ways (Yeat mix)”, Yeat reimagines a modern classic through his distinct sonic lens, paying tribute from one visionary to another.

Yeat’s last project, the #1 Billboard charting LYFESTYLE, kicked off this summer when Yeat hinted at new music during his special three-show North American run across New York, Los Angeles, and Portland. Though they’re seven years apart in age, 28-year-old OMB Peezy and 21-year-old FBLManny bonded over their similar upbringings in the trenches and their taste in melodic street music. Today, the Alabama mainstay and the Atlanta riser combine their sensibilities, sharing OverKrash, their new collaborative project. Driven by Peezy’s soaring triplets and Manny’s taffy-like vocals, OverKrash is a heartfelt and motivational effort, speaking directly to those in the struggle with relatable narratives and ushering them forward with invigorating words of wisdom.

The new tape is home to recent singles like “How U Feelin’,” a theme song for lifelong hustlers, and “New Dallas,” a bass-heavy banger. The 28-year-old artist has released ten solo and collaborative albums, including 2021’s Too Deep For Tears, home to the remix to his GOLD single “Big Homie,” and most recently, Drifting Away, which dropped earlier this year. Peezy got an unexpected boost in late 2024 when his 2017, Drum Dummie-produced breakout hit “Lay Down” went viral on TikTok, generating over 150k video creations and inspiring a dance popular with the youngest generation. The revived success of “Lay Down” inspired a new remix, featuring GloRilla, which racked up over 5.8 million streams on Spotify alone since its December 2024 release.

21-year-old FBLManny is well on his way to success, popping in Atlanta with regional hits like “Patrick Bev” and collaborating with fellow risers like Raq Baby. A young OG, Manny started rapping when he was just 10 years-old, recording songs in his living room under the watchful eye of his mom. Manny dropped his first project, U Know The Vibes, as a 16-year-old in 2019, and has followed with several accomplished tapes, including 2025’s Cat Music 3. Now working with OMB Peezy as his creative partner and source of advice as someone who also broke out at a young age (“Peezy’s really like a mentor,” FBLMANNY says), Manny is ready to make a name for himself on the national scene.

With OverKrash, Peezy and Manny seek to establish themselves as one of hip-hop’s premier duos.
