Latin Hitmaker Álvaro Díaz Plots ‘Omakase Tour’ After Chart-Topping Album

Álvaro Díaz is taking his boldest record yet on the road. Fresh off the release of his critically acclaimed studio album ‘OMAKASE,’ out now via Universal Music Latino, the Latin star has announced his 33-city Omakase Tour spanning major cities across Latin America and the U.S.

The run promises Díaz’s most ambitious live production to date, translating the album’s cinematic world and genre-defying sound into an immersive concert experience. Promoted by Live Nation, the U.S. leg kicks off October 14 in Chicago at the Riviera Theatre, with stops at The Fillmore in Miami Beach and The Wiltern in Los Angeles, before wrapping November 7 in San Jose at the San Jose Civic.

Widely regarded as his most evolved work, ‘OMAKASE’ marks a bold new chapter. Taking its cue from the traditional Japanese dining experience, the album finds Díaz layering flavors, textures, and unexpected combinations into a meticulously curated sonic journey, and that same attention to detail is set to carry over to the stage each night.

The numbers tell the story of a global breakout. Since its release, ‘OMAKASE’ has reached No. 1 in more than 16 countries, including Mexico and Colombia, and debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s Top Albums Debut Global chart its week of release. With collaborations from Tainy, Akrilla, Jesse Báez, RUBI, and Latin Mafia, the project cements the 3X Latin GRAMMY-nominated artist’s place at the forefront of Latin music’s new generation.

Tickets become available starting with a presale on June 9, with additional presales running through the week ahead of the general on-sale, which begins Thursday, June 11 at 10:00 a.m. local time at LiveNation.com.
