Los Angeles-based vocalist Ami Taf Ra visited the KEXP studios to perform a 5 song set featuring material from her debut album ‘The Prophet and the Madman’. Accompanied by a 3-piece band – including drummer Micah Heard – bassist Isaac Green – and keyboardist Veritus Miller – she showcased a unique fusion of Moroccan Gnawa traditions and spiritual jazz.
