Best Qualities You Should Look For In A Virtual Assistant
Having a virtual assistant in your company will be a valuable asset especially when you are still starting up where your resources are small and your funds are still limited. Start-up business owners are entrepreneurs who needs to handle their time efficiently and must focus more on the tasks that will increase the development and growth of the business. A virtual assistant plays a critical role in managing valuable time for businessmen by performing non-critical tasks and other functions.
There are countless sources where companies can hire virtual assistants. You can get suggestions from colleagues, friends or by just checking the internet. There are a lot of trustworthy online market platforms and websites that provide expert virtual assistants. Regardless of where they work, be it at home or inside a shared office space, it’s always essential to screen all of the applicants before hiring them.
So what qualifications should a virtual assistant should have?
Reliable
Reliability is one of the best qualities a virtual assistant must have. No matter how great there resume is, your working relationship will not work if you can’t trust your VA. When you give them a task such as buying tiktok followers or getting social media followers at Igreviewhub.org, a VA should be able to answer your questions and report the progress of their work. You should not be the one who is always asking for updates.
Competent
For any kind of project, you need to determine each candidate’s technical and fundamental skills. Fundamentals compose of communication skills, internet proficiency, emailing, and mastery in several software. Technical skills refer to the overall scope of the work. If you want a VA who will handle your social media accounts, you will need to test the candidate with their knowledge in using top social media platforms. A candidate does not have to be the best out there but they must possess a certain level of competence.
Honest
Virtual assistants handle a lot of work that can require managing of private information. This may include managing email addresses to handling credit cards to book for flights and accommodation. When looking for a virtual assistant, it is essential that they display the virtue of honesty during the interview. You can ask them how to handle private information and call some of their references to check out on them before doing a hire.
Own Their Mistakes
A professional VA is never scared to own up to mistakes they have done at work. Having this quality makes it easier to maintain work relationship. A good virtual assistant values their job and their contribution to the company’s success. They must know how to own mistakes so they can be better in the future. Owning mistakes also signifies a person’s accountability which is another great quality you should look for in a virtual assistant.
Attention to Detail
A great VA should be keen to detail. Virtual assistants usually communicate with clients, know how to answer calls and emails professionally, and handle important tasks. You would want someone who spends extra effort on searching and correcting mistakes and someone who goes the extra mile to ensure that all data are right. Of course, humans will commit little mistakes from time to time, however when you hire someone who is keen on details, you won’t have to waste time going back and rechecking all the work.

The JUNO Awards return to Toronto to Celebrate 50 years of Canadian Music
The JUNO Awards will be returning to Toronto for its 50th anniversary. The 2021 JUNO Awards and JUNO Week will take place March 22-28, 2021 culminating in The 50th Annual JUNO Awards Broadcast at Scotiabank Arena on Sunday, March 28, 2021, to be aired live on CBC.
“50 years ago Walt Grealis and Stan Klees created the JUNO Awards right here in Toronto and it’s an honour to bring Canada’s biggest night in music back home to where it all started,” said Allan Reid, President & CEO, CARAS / The JUNO Awards and MusiCounts. “This country continues to produce some of the most vibrant artists in the world and we invite you to join us in what will be the greatest national celebration of Canadian music ever.”
JUNO Week 2021 returns to Toronto after a decade, with the support of the Province of Ontario and the City of Toronto. This will be the 26th time that Toronto has hosted Canada’s most iconic celebration of music, which remained in Toronto for its first 20 years – starting out in 1970 at St. Lawrence Hall, a historic venue that held an intimate 250 people. Since then, the awards show has grown to fill venues of over 15,000 seats and traveled from coast-to-coast, from St. John’s, NL, to Vancouver, BC, honouring the best in Canadian musical talent.
“Toronto is proud to host The JUNO Awards for their 50th anniversary,” said Mayor John Tory. “As the biggest event in Canadian music, this is a great opportunity for Toronto to welcome The JUNO Awards back home to where it all began 50 years ago and highlight the city’s truly diverse yet quintessentially Canadian spirit. We look forward to hosting the best of Canadian music in 2021!”
“Ontario’s amazing artists, industry professionals and emerging talent exemplify that we offer the world in one province,” said Lisa MacLeod, Ontario’s Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport. “We’re ready to share it with the rest of the country by welcoming the JUNO Awards back to Ontario for their 50th anniversary, which will help drive our $25 billion culture sector and contribute to an overall economic footprint of $71 billion dollars when factoring in tourism, culture, and sport.”
Toronto, Canada’s largest city and one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world, is known for its vibrant and ever-evolving music scene. The city has produced some of Canada’s most iconic and best-selling artists in the world. Since the JUNO Awards hit the road in 2002, each host city has seen an average of over $10 million in economic impact of the awards broadcast, JUNO Week and surrounding events.
The origins of the JUNO Awards date back to 1970. In that year, Walt Grealis and Stan Klees, publishers of the weekly trade publication, RPM, organized the Gold Leaf Awards, held at the St. Lawrence Hall in Toronto. A year later, the name of the award was changed to honour Pierre Juneau, the first head of the CRTC and responsible for the implementation of the Canadian Content Regulations in 1971.
The 50th annual JUNO Awards and JUNO Week 2021 will be hosted in Toronto, ON from March 22 through 28 with the finale event, The JUNO Awards Broadcast, on March 28 at Scotiabank Arena. The broadcast will be aired live on CBC, CBC Radio One, CBC Music, the free CBC Gem streaming service in Canada and globally at www.CBCMusic.ca/junos.
Watch Bruce Springsteen perform “Born To Run,” “Raise Your Hand” and “Detroit Medley” live in 1978
One of his most famous performances took place on Sept. 19, 1978 in his home state at the Capitol Theatre. The 3,200 fans (now totaling in the million who claim they were there) in the crowd witnessed what many consider to be the best performance of his – or any – career. It was captured on a WNEW-FM simulcast broadcast and filmed with then state-of-the-art video technology. even though it’s a little lacking now. Springsteen performed songs like “Born To Run,” “Detroit Medley” and “Raise Your Hand,” and he was at the absolute peak of his powers and still maintaining the artistic sensibility that runs deeper than those of his era.
