This is a real thing: Oreo Vinyl with Oreo Vinyl Record Player.

Hong Kong agency Dimensions developed Oreo Vinyl in order to make the cookie more appealing to Chinese teenagers.

Borrowing the concept and mechanics of vinyl record, the data on the cookie is embossed with a mod which is made with laser cutting and engraving technique. And they wrote a program to transform the music into a pattern. After that, we make it into a laser-engraving friendly format and produce the mod for the Oreo Vinyl production.

The Oreo Vinyl pack comes with a mini turntable, and four different ‘songs. Each song is “a recomposed version of the Oreo anthem” in a different musical style: jazz, electronic, classical, and Chinese.

Charlie Puth Announces ‘Voicenotes’ North American Tour

The Honda Civic Tour, a summer staple for music fans, returns this July headlined by multi-GRAMMY nominated singer, songwriter, producer Charlie Puth – with his biggest North American tour to date. The Civic Tour also will feature multiplatinum recording artist and actress Hailee Steinfeld, as a special guest on all tour dates. The 2018 Honda Civic Tour is produced by Live Nation. Now in its 17th year, the Honda Civic Tour officially gets underway July 13 in Boston, MA at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion, and travels the nation through the summer landing in 30 cities. Due to overwhelming demand, Radio City Music Hall is sold out and a second NY area show in Farmingville, NY has been added on July 14. Today also marks the release of Charlie’s highly anticipated second album, Voicenotes, which is available now at all music retailers and streaming services. Download or stream here.

Every track on Voicenotes was produced and written by Charlie himself. Charlie celebrated the arrival of Voicenotes with a number of release week, national television appearances, performing his current single “Done For Me” on NBC’s “The Voice” and “TODAY.” Charlie continues his media blitz with a performance of the track on the nationally syndicated “Live with Kelly and Ryan” on May 14. “Done For Me (feat. In addition to his continued commercial success, Charlie’s new music has found critical acclaim, with The New York Times calling “Attention” one of the best songs of 2017. The song also proved to be a worldwide smash, receiving a remarkable 47 Platinum certifications as well as a Diamond certification in France. In addition to hitting #1 on the European airplay chart, the song went #1 on the airplay charts in France, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. “How Long” went Top 5 at both Top 40 and Hot AC radio, and was named one of “The 17 Best Pop Songs of 2017” by Vanity Fair.

Today, Pepsi announced its summer plans as part of this year’s global creative campaign, Pepsi Generations, celebrating the brand’s iconic role in music history. With the help of Pepsi musicians past and present, including King of Pop Michael Jackson, Ray Charles and Britney Spears, the new iteration of the campaign will continue to excite fans with a focus on music and entertainment programming, limited-edition cans, a seasonal release of Pepsi Stuff and breakthrough digital content.

The world was first introduced to the Pepsi Generations campaign – a celebration of some of the brand’s biggest pop culture moments – earlier this year through the “This Is the Pepsi” national Super Bowl commercial. From supporting emerging musical talent through platforms like Pepsi Sound Drop to marquee ads featuring world-class musicians and jaw-dropping Super Bowl Half Time Show performances, Pepsi’s strong heritage in music will shine through in this phase of the global campaign, showcasing Pepsi as a force in music for decades to come.

Pepsi will celebrate all summer long throughout the U.S. across the full Pepsi portfolio – Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Pepsi Zero Sugar and Pepsi Wild Cherry.

To honor iconic musical partnerships of Pepsi past and present, the brand is rolling out limited-edition Pepsi Generations icon cans featuring superstars Michael Jackson, Ray Charles and Britney Spears, and retro Pepsi logos from each artist’s era.
