Hinterland Music Festival Unveils Campfire Stage Lineup For 2026 Edition: KATSEYE, Lorde, Mumford & Sons And More

Hinterland Music Festival has announced the 2026 lineup for its Campfire Stage, a late-night series designed to offer intimate performances within the festival campgrounds. Known as “the festival after the festival,” this year’s Campfire Stage will feature a diverse array of artists including Nourished by Time, Pixel Grip, Between Friends, and Ninajirachi. These performances are curated to extend the energy of the main stage into the night, providing campers with a closer look at rising talent such as The Brook & The Bluff, Buffalo Traffic Jam, Die Spitz, and Gouge Away. The addition of the Campfire Stage highlights the festival’s focus on its camping culture, which serves as the social heart of the four-day event in St. Charles, Iowa.

The 11th annual festival will take place from July 30 to August 2, 2026, marking its first expansion to a full four-day format. The main stage lineup is led by global girl group KATSEYE, Lorde, Mumford & Sons, and Kali Uchis. Other high-profile acts scheduled for the weekend include beabadoobee, MUNA, Jessie Murph, and the recently reunited indie outfit The Format. Beyond the music, the Hinterland campgrounds will offer various community activities, including morning yoga, the White Claw Hammock Hangout, a Late Night Silent Disco, and hiking trails. Organizers have reconfigured the layout this year to accommodate the growing attendance while maintaining the discovery-driven atmosphere that has defined the festival since its inception.

Camping remains a primary draw for the festival, with several distinct options available to attendees. Fans can choose from classic tent camping, car camping for easy gear access, and powered or non-powered RV sites. For those seeking a more curated experience, glamping sites with pre-set furnished tents and premium amenities are also available. Ticket prices for the 2026 edition started at $365 for 4-day General Admission, with various VIP upgrades and payment plans offered. All passes are currently on sale through the official festival website, where fans can also find details on the “90 Degree Guarantee,” a weather-contingency policy that allows for specific ticket returns if temperatures exceed ninety degrees.
