Culinary icon and Northern California native Guy Fieri has announced the return of “Guy’s Flavortown Tailgate” presented by SpotOn, scheduled for Sunday, February 8, 2026. Taking place at the Cow Palace in Daly City from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm PT, the fourth annual event is expected to welcome over 10,000 fans for the largest free, all-ages pre-kickoff celebration of Big Game Weekend. This year’s musical lineup features the electronic duo Loud Luxury and rising country star Tucker Wetmore. Fieri, often referred to as the “Mayor of Flavortown,” has designed the event to celebrate the Bay Area’s vibrant hospitality scene, offering a mix of his own custom gameday menus and a dedicated “Built in the Bay” zone spotlighting local culinary favorites.
General admission for the tailgate is free to the public, though fans must register in advance for a chance to receive a ticket. For those seeking guaranteed entry and enhanced amenities, several upgrade options are available: the “Taste of Flavortown” ticket starts at $49.99 and includes priority entry and two food items from Fieri’s concepts. VIP All-Inclusive tickets, starting at $199.99, provide a four-hour premium open bar, access to a private lounge, and air-conditioned restrooms. This year’s event also features a significant community component, with 2,000 veterans receiving guaranteed access through a partnership with Carnival Cruise Line, and a food recovery initiative led by Hellmann’s and the Food Recovery Network to provide thousands of meals from surplus event food.
The “Built in the Bay” showcase, powered by SpotOn technology, will feature local institutions such as Waterbar, The Slanted Door, and China Live, alongside favorites from Fieri’s long-running series ‘Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives’. Fans can also explore gameday activations including a mechanical bull at the Pendleton Whisky Saloon, King’s Hawaiian slider stations, and a tequila bar featuring Santo Tequila by Sammy Hagar and Guy Fieri. Produced by Medium Rare, the festival-style tailgate aims to bring the high-energy “heartbeat” of the Super Bowl to the local community, regardless of whether fans are attending the championship game. Registration and ticket sales are currently live at GuysFlavortownTailgate.com.
